- UPDATES : Animax has confirmed that Final Stage will be available on its subscription-based VOD (Video On Demand) service starting May 16th, 2014. It will continue where Fifth Stage left off. Consist of a total of four episodes, Final Stage will be focusing on the long-awaited final 86 vs 86 battle between Takumi and Shinji. [confirmed]
- UPDATES : Avex has confirmed that the New Initial D The Movie will be a trilogy. First part of the trilogy is called Legend 1 -Awakening- slated for release in theaters on August 23rd, 2014 (Japan Only) [confirmed]

The reason why bunta and daiki have red aura is because they're driving skills are much higher than takumi. You must remember that takumi would have lost if it wasnt for the ferrit that ran across the road when diaki was leading. I believe that diaki driving skills is not as strong as bunta but maybe equal to ryousuke. Takumi gave daiki a run for his money but this race against daiki was so much similar to The race he had with ryousuke. Ryousuke only lost because his tires slipped. Takumi have skills but without luck he would of have lostot ryousuke and daiki. The color of the aura is just probably picked randomly for each character, i dont think it make correlates with how strong they are in driving. Maybe the size of the aura have some correlations with their driving strength (like dragonball z, bigger the aura the stronger they are) same concept. Can anyone tell me whats wrong. I have DSL and i tried to download episode 7 ad it says 1871 hours to finish. But episode 8 took me only 4 hrs to download. Can some one tell whats wrong. thankss | ||

Tomoyuki is the one your talking about with the ferret thing. It's red because we all know Bunta put as much effort on wasting takumi as he does opening his eyes. If he wanted to show the true stuff after he gets use to it, it wouldn't even be rainbow, it'd be like some kinda apocalypse type of aura. Wait that's red. Hot damn. |

holy so much technical shizz on that last quote huh? haha just deleted it... neways, yeah that makes sense with the whole aura thing, but please to the other other guy, don't relate the episodes to the game. seriously a blind attack on the yellow cf hood ek-9 in the game isn't going to win u brownie points. oh n to add, actually takumi still has more skill than ryouske does. it was ryouske's problem that he didn't anticipate the tire problem especially on that last corner. another was that takumi comes up with new shizz in every race so that caught ryouske off guard b/c he based his hypothesis on takumi's recent races. not only that, when ryouske overtook takumi, takumi was still faster than ryouske, the thing was he was getting fast enough to pass him by the finish line, thus "gutter move pt.2" w/e. | ||
