Consist of a total of four episodes, Final Stage will be focusing on the long-awaited final 86 vs 86 battle between Takumi and Shinji. [confirmed]
- UPDATES : Avex has confirmed that the New Initial D The Movie will be a trilogy. First part of the trilogy is called Legend 1 -Awakening- slated for release in theaters on August 23rd, 2014 (Japan Only) [confirmed]

You should check the credit sequence or maybe check the ID5 D Selection Vol.1 tracklist here to try and find the corresponding title if you can make out the words a bit... | ||

Didnt the original press release say they were going to do 2 episodes a month for a year. That would bring the grand total to 24 episodes, an enitre season. I think whats happening is that they are rushing the races a little to conclude the series. With that said, I think they will end up showing the fated Takumi/ Keisuke race (2) and I think the final tests for the both of them would be Takumi vs Bunta and Keisuke vs Ryosuke. |

I know the manga isn't finished yet but maybe thats how it will end. who knows? But in First stage Ryosuke did tell Keisuke that there were 2 people he felt had a shot at beating him some day and the his brother was one of them. So I speculate at least that Keisuke will have to race his brother as his final test before going for the pros. | ||
