Canada | Well, on the Initial D World home page, there is a real life map of Akina if that counts....... I would assume that most, if not all the race locations are real. After all, ID takes place in Gunma prefecture and the locations are based off from that. And the fact is that Gunma prefecture does indeed exist in Japan. I've seen a pic of the actual Fujiwara Tofu shop before. |

The police are actually pretty lax about it, I guess there's some "understanding" that as long as the racers keep it to late nights when the roads aren't really used then it's okay and they won't harass. I would really like to get stationed at Yokota Air Base thats near Tokyo, but Im sure Ill probably go to Okinawa before Yokota though. Either way it would be cool since theres a racing scene in both places. |
