Holy crap! That's amazing! Just ordered it right now! Thanks Phantom! Now for me to get my hands on the TH8rs shifter and make a new wheelstand since my ghetto diy wheelstand will only withstand the weight of my G27. lol

Edit: Ahh crap, some guys in the iRacing and GTPlanet forums are saying their orders are getting cancelled due to the products being unavailable. I won't be surprised once I see my cancelled order.

BTW ISR has uploaded a first impression of the game with an hour of gameplay.

I'm still wondering why the hell PD wants us to drive a Honda fit first...

Looking at the video...it's not that bad actually...

But I do wonder why the HECK PD wants to make a Honda FIT the first car? Can't complain but at the same time...huh?

I mean they showed a Mazda RX-8 is about 25k (or was it 27k?) and why couldn't they buy that first? That doesn't...fit right...at all. It seems though that there are no used cars that I can see yet so they seemed to go back to GT3 style car buying...

However I will give them that at least the credit output and the car prices are much easier then GT3.

But still...A HONDA FIT?!

Wish they gave you a choice to skip the tutorials. Not liking that I'm going to have to use a Fit for the first few races. But oh well..

I'm glad they included all the cars into one dealership. I didn't like the used car dealership in GT5. I never found a Shuichi Shigeno 86 or an R32 S-tune because of that.

There's a good chance that it will be in GT6 at some point.

Hmm, the reviews seem pretty positive so far. I probably won't pick this up till after the holidays but I'm certainly looking forward to it.

So, being a day one person I will give my experience/a review...thingy of GT6 so far. It maybe a bit long so i'll just spoiler the thing.

Alright, first off the tutorial. It was whatever and it gives you a dip for the game physics. First car? Fucking FIT RS...god dammit PD. With the 30k you gave us we could get a stock FRS/BRZ/GT 86. So first steps, bad. But it does get a bit better here... When you start off at the Novice level the Sunday Cup the FIT is a decent car to use, and if you're a Gamestop pre-order person you can't use any of the cars yet. However after the Sunday Cup the Amateur Cup let's you use some cars the GS preorder gives you. I used the GT 86 one and...it freaking decimated...but i'm sure you could use the FIT if you needed to, at this time you should feel comfortable with the physics of the game. And the stars, the questionable part. It's not THAT bad. You can get up to 3 stars per race and the requirements are fairly easy to nab all three of them. Star 1: Complete the race. Star 2: Get 3rd place. Star 3: Finish first. Easy and here's the odd thing about the stars. The License tests? Still there. HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO QUALIFY FOR THEM WITH THE STARS. STUPID. But at least you don't have to finish all the events to qualify for them. To advance to National B you just need to win first for all the Sunday and Amateur Cups. Now onto the License tests...(Oh by the way collecting all the stars will nab you a car) Thankfully the Tests are only five lessons long, for only the National B and A lessons I managed to Gold all of them easily. Here you really feel how the physics of the game works and I NEVER got all gold for any license tests....EVER. This is the first time I gold all the tests...so far. Oh and you get cars for completing the Test and for getting all gold. But how are the physics? I must say for each car I can feel each cars individual...physics? Or something like that. I must admit I play all the Gran Turismo games I can say, as a controller player, this is the BEST one so far. I can feel the car's...turning thingy...I DON'T KNOW HOW TO PHRASE IT. Graphics, for what it's worth and it's on? It's good, not great, but good. Think the graphics as a polished GT5 and the colors are a bit darker. So it's ok and it's the best looking GT so far. I will say this, OF COURSE FORZA 5 GRAPHICS ARE BETTER. CURRENT (NEXT) GEN VERSUS LAST GEN CONSOLES. IT WOULD BE EMBARRASSING FOR FORZA 5 TO LOSE TO GT6 ON GRAPHICS. Now that out of the way what else is there to talk about...? Ah yes, the customizations for the cars. All the parts are divided in 5 separate categories: Tires, Suspension, Transmission, Power, and Body. So it's categorized for some simplicity and it works well. Now to the 'Custom Parts' aka the Body Kits and Rim changing. And all I have to say is... PD I AM DISSAPOINTED. I MEAN SERIOUSLY?! Sure you combined the front, skirt, and rear body kit into one but IT'S NOT ENOUGH. Get this, the Keisuke FD (enfini FD Type R I believe) ONLY HAS ONE AERO KIT. AND THIS AERO KIT ONLY ADDS THE FRONT...CURVY THINGYS, NO MORE. C'MON. The wings though are LARGE...I mean they reach to the ROOF OF THE CAR. Although these are called 'Generic Wing(s)' so I can slightly let this slide. Oh yeah, you know that livery system? I...have no idea yet, but so far you can ONLY DO SO LITTLE ON VARIOUS RACE CARS THAT HAVE THE 'Base Model' THINGY ON IT. AND ALL I CAN SEE IS THAT YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE THE COLOR AND THE NUMBER. THAT'S IT. So much for a livery system...but maybe i'm being critical for it since again, I only SAW the base model cars. Plus Day 1, maybe they'll add it for all cars eventually. What else now...? Unlocks...Special events...oh right the special events. I believe you need to get each license to unlock the events. For example the Good Wood Festival of Speed is unlocked when you get the National B License and you get three cars to start. National A unlocks the SSSPPPPPAAAACCCEEEE rover thing, which I admit is pretty fun. MOON PHYSICS AWAY. Yeah unlocks, can't go online/seasonal events until you get to National A. Guess they wanted to make sure you know how to race well. Photo mode is unlocked when you get to National B. And various other maybe unlocked as more license are obtained...oh yeah I forgot. Talking about unlocks each...grade I guess (National B, National A, etc.) get a certain amount of stars and you unlock Coffee Breaks (which are ok and a good deviation of track racing), Mission races (you know those ones back in GT4? Returns I think...), and One Make races (self explanatory). Um...last things, money output. As I said in an earlier post the cars are all new and the money outputs are good. It's actually...ok. You can get a decent amount of money, now I have NO IDEA if you can sell the cars but the credits are enough to get some decent upgrades for cars or get a pretty nice car in the dealership...but you have almost no excess but by the time you finish the race you have a decent amount. Racing suits and helmets....you can buy them at the GT Auto Shop, all of them are pretty much the same price with the ability to pick a color out for it. Oh yeah the Stockyard...what the heck is it for anyway? It seems you can move cars there but for what reason? I dunno...setting screen, it's all done in one long page with various windows with...I guess tabs that are divided in (I think) 4 car tunings (except tires, they're at the very top). Oh YEAH I ALMOST FORGOT. YOU CAN BUY A CERTAIN STAGE OF ENGINE TUNING/WEIGHT REDUCTION AND SWITCH THEM OUT AS YOU LIKE. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO THE REGULAR...UPGRADE WAY. This is new for GT. Overall? I think it's the best GT in terms of physics as you can feel each car's unique handling (OH YEAH THAT'S THE WORD) and it's pretty fun.

*WHEW* So all that said and done...do I recommend you to buy it now? Only if you're a pretty hard GT fan like me, if you're just a casual guy I would say wait. It's ok right now but I would wait to see if they add anything or whatnot. Also feel free to ask me about some things if you want to.

Will I be online? I dunno...yet.

Sound...yeah the car noise is bad but I wasn't expecting that much so whatever. The BGM...oh no the BGM...I HATE the race BGM, it doesn't make me want to race intensely...I feel like I just decided to put on a random station and am racing with said radio station...it just SUCKS. It's making me want to put some time in finding my own BGM... Interiors, in case if you guys don't know what's premium or standard when you buy the car if the option 'View Gallery' is light up then it's premium, is ok. The standard interior has a basic RPM meter with the speed on there with the hands actually being there. Would I like to see more interiors? Yes, but I can tolerate what they did. I never had a freeze issue unless I go off track in the license test, it freezes for a second and tells me i'm disqualified. Not a problem, since it tells you 'hey you went off track, bad.' Track graphics? Um...it's a bit everywhere. Some are pretty nice while some are...bad especially the Willwood (??? the one track that is near LA) track...the barrier near the start is a bit off for me. And the people...well some are just pictures.

I'm loving the physics for this. Definitely my favorite. I do have a few gripes about the game though.

Custom BGMs aren't working properly. They keep cycling through the same song for every race, and the only way to change that song is to restart the race. Also, every once in a while the game's own BGM kicks in, but that's corrected by restarting the race as well.

Another problem is at the beginning of the race. Not sure if this is a problem on my end or if anyone else is experiencing it. By the time the countdown goes from 1 to 0 and lets you start, there seems to be a quick stutter/freeze on screen. It's not that noticeable for me unless I'm really waiting and looking for it. But it's still a bit bothersome.

And the tracks... Some of the tracks look like complete crap. Again, not sure if this is just a problem on my end or not. I usually don't complain about the visuals, but some of the tracks look worse than they did in GT5. Bathurst was the one that surprised me the most. It looks like it was ported over from a PS2 game. Everything else about the game is gorgeous, the cars look fine and so do some of the tracks. I'm hoping this is just a problem on my end since I got a new TV and haven't messed with the picture settings yet.

Overall I'm enjoying this immensely. Oh, and the game finally allows you remove spoilers and wings from cars.

About the tracks, I've noticed the graphics with them especially if u look closely on the shadows. Lots of 'jagged' lines i guess. Not sure about the rest but so far I love this way more than gt5 that's for sure. The only thing that bothers me is the credits you can buy with real money...

I'm so hooked on karting online. LOL
Really close racing that I've been in so far.

I wonder if some of the graphical issues are something PD will clean up in a future patch. Will likely wait for this game to drop down $15-20 before picking it up.

Still disappointed that the number of standard cars outnumbers the premiums. They still don't have premium models of certain cars, and they should have taken out some of the 20-30+ Nissan Skylines in the game. They should also fix the buggy custom BGM system in the next patch update.

Yeah, the Pokemon (need to collect them all) approach PD has taken since GT4 just seems like a big waste. I don't need to comb through several years and versions of the Skyline GTR, Integra Type R and S2000 that are all the same.

Welp... I just encountered another glitch in the game.

Whenever I try to race online my screen ends up turning black. It happens right when the race is starting. I can still hear the sounds of people on their mics. I'm forced to quit the game, but it ends up restarting my console instead, and making me sit through that "checking files" loading screen. I've only raced online four times. The first race was fine, but it hasn't worked since. I don't wanna test it out anymore, since I don't want my PS3 ruined from having it restarted like that every time. I knew GT6 was gonna be rushed, but I didn't expect them to let all these glitches slip by. Especially some of the game ruining ones reported on GTPlanet.

Seriously, did PD really listen to fans?
IMO, the only thing that interest me is the new physics, other than that nothing to rave about.
(hopes are already not high after GT5).

1 race take 10 - 15min and yet money is so hard/tedious to earn. (even with 200% increase).
GT6 will be my last gt game for sure.

12/22/2013 4:19 to complete the last events in IA which unlock S license test.
12/22/2013 5:08 to complete all S licenses on GOLD

Took me exactly 49 minutes to complete all S licenses to GOLD

I just finished my last GT6 event. Proud to say that I managed to get gold for every race, mission, license, coffee break.. etc etc. Although it did seem a lot easier in GT6 compared to GT5. Maybe because of the lack of B-spec mode. The trophies seemed easier this time too. I only have the tedious ones left to do, like "drive the length of the autobahn." and "win a race within .010"
