Hi everyone,

I just experienced the worst box of chocolates I have ever experienced in my life. I guess they are right about life being like a box of chocolates: Some of them suck.

Alright, so I open this cardboard box and am presented with an edible chocolate box; how delightful. I'm glad the person that gave it to me wasn't watching. So, I open the box and see a wide array of chocolates, mainly milk chocolate ones and dark chocolate ones. They look pretty good, so I decide to eat one...

I'm expecting something pleasant inside this milk chocolate one, but that isn't what I get when I sink my teeth into this thing. What is inside it is indescribable. Sort of a goop that is kind of a mix between pepto bismol and a rotten strawberry injected with some sort of mint flavored fecal matter. I spit it out and it lands on the table and a bit of vomit comes up into my throat, so I run to the bathroom and drink water until the taste and puke goes away.

I throw caution to the wind and try another. This one is filled with a yellow colored, lemon flavored goop. I spit it out and go lay down for a while and watch TV.

Happy Valentine's day everybody.

hahaha...

My father did that to a kid he knew when he was my age, put laxatives in some sort of food and gave it to him, apparantly it was during school, and the kid had such a bad case of the s**ts that he went home and didn't come back for two days. Dad plays such bad pranks. blink.gif

Cheapo ass chocolates suck. Dont ever trust the box.
As they say, dont jugde a book by its cover. Or in this case.
Dont judge a box of chocolates by the pretty box. tongue.gif

These kids on the soccer team in middle school put laxatives in the coach's drink. He made them run for so long they almost passed out.

Oh no, that sounds like quite the chocolate adventure! 😅 It's a shame when expectations don't match reality, especially with something as delightful as chocolates. Thanks for sharing your experience, though; it's a reminder to always appreciate the good ones even more!

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about your chocolate mishap! It's really disappointing when something meant to be enjoyable turns out to be a letdown. Your experience highlights how important it is for companies to maintain quality control, especially for treats like chocolates, especially during occasions like Valentine's Day. Have you thought about getting in touch with the company to let them know about your experience? They might find your feedback helpful for making improvements, like ensuring better chocolate packaging to maintain freshness.
