Nothing illegal at all smile.gif Rota's are cheap because they use the cheapest manufacturing method (gravity casting) instead of forged (BBS, Volks, etc.). Konig actually uses Enkei's MAT (Most Advanced Technology rolleyes.gif ) on some of their wheels http://konigusa.net/nodisplay/mat-technology-wheel-process/. It's also called flow-forming, a compromise between gravity casting & forging in both strength & cost. Though to be fair, I'm not sure if the Konig Rewind is made using MAT technology...lol

Cast wheels really just don't have the strength for the track, period. I've seen tons of wheels bent by curbing that shouldn't have had any issues.

Monoblock for life. awesome.gif

With ya there! happy.gif Flow-formed wheels aren't bad either for those that don't want to shell out $$$ for Volks/BBSs.

Awesome Wufei. Definitely got me into looking in-depth on more quality wheels than mentioned above.

Track time? Meme images? AGREES WITH ME? I like this guy already! laugh2.gif

Yeah, Volks are a pretty penny, even being the third owner of my CE28N-TAs, I still paid more than any other set of new wheels I had my eye on. Totally worth it though.
