Rice Cooke from Hyundai...

hmm, lets see, first, is the name. Second, the email is hotmail. Third, they spelled "lotto" wrong in the email address. Fourth, Hyundai started in '67, it's 42 years old. Fifth, if I entered a contest, they would have my info. Sixth, I didn't enter anything.

Anyone else got some good ones?

I used to have this mail where they said that I was the only next of kin to this filthy rich businessman whom I do not know, needless to say his country of origin as well. All his relatives had passed on, and I was the only closest kin to receive his fortune which was a few billionnnnnnnnnn.

The mail was SO long, I swear I was almost taken in LOL! But of cause, it was only a spam mail. I wanted to keep it for the lulz, but too bad I deleted it..

I always laugh when I read that. The location of said person/money/item is almost always West Africa or Nigeria. Part of me is amazed that people still try this, but I'm also amazed that enough American people are stupid enough to believe this crap. Enough, anyway, to keep the emails flowing.

laugh.gif I still got the check.

Got raped in taxes. I didn't really need the cash anyway. I've not touched it since I put it in multiple bank accounts to secure it.

I'm curious, if you seriously did win the powerball, how much taxes do they take out?

Because I'm a rotary guy.

Like I said I've yet to even touch the cash. I'm gonna spend the money I got now, if I ever need it, I'll mess with it. But I happily make enough money to support drifting, so what would I need to do with this? I'm probably gonna end up investing it in a few months anyway.

I've kept it on the down-low for the most part. So, not very many.

My cousin asked me for 400 bucks the day he found out though. I was like baaah no.

Yeah, the government probably justifies taxing the money that much because it's "Hey, you're getting free money, let us just take some of that OM NOM NOM NOM NOM"

Congrats on winning, though. I can most certainly admit that I'm rather jealous. My tech-school tuition is "only" $15,000 total and I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out student loans. pinch2.gif
