Cornering Ability: While faster cars like Ferraris, Lamborghinis, or high-end performance vehicles can pull away on straightaways, the AE86 excels in tight corners. Its rear-wheel drive allows for controlled drifts, maintaining high speeds while cornering.

Driver Skill: The driver of the AE86 is experienced, able to push the car to its limits while knowing every inch of the mountain road. This advantage of skill and familiarity with the terrain compensates for the car's relative lack of power.

Agility and Weight: The AE86 weighs significantly less than modern supercars, which gives it better maneuverability in tight spaces. It may not have raw horsepower, but it’s nimble and quick through hairpin turns.
