Being so old and no one really fixing them up, the market got killed. Youll be hard pressed to find a company like HKS or Greddy coming out with anything for that car. Everything will either have to be custom made or some used old part. Goodluck. |

True, the aftermarket isnt all that great, but you can find stuff. Try searching through our forums & look at all the modded cars. Heres some links to a FAQ about our cars..... http://z31.com/modifications.shtml http://z31.com/tfaq/ me personally, I run mid to low 13's. Figuring Im putting down around 250hp & havent spent all that much on the car. Easily runs 10-15psi w/out IC. You dont ahve to "fab" everything you get. Jim Wolf, Stillen, and other manufacturers that were around in the 80s still sell new turbos, ECUs, etc for the car. you can also find suspension & body kits too. collaborate on our forums at z31.com or 300zx.com to hear more. My website has plenty z31 links... http://www.geocities.com/joeyfeets/nissan.html email or PM with more questions. paid $1000 for an 87turbo & its been running great (track & daily driving) for 3 yrs |

I like your wheels! lol. Z31 is my least favorite all all Z's (Z's and ZX's) but it's still pretty cool.

its just you have damn good taste!!! , lol naw but I like the z31s better than the z32s. some of the 90-96 z's with body kits look good, but I like the 80s better. especially the 87-89s...... (guess which one mine is)

Z32 with BKs to me look like ass, im a stock nazi. |

It's heavy, poor drivetrain, and hard as hell to work on. My brother's friend sold it because he spent too much damn money on it and just bought a Z32. The Z31's look good but go is more important than show. This post has been edited by AP1FrEaKsLiDe on Oct 2 2004, 08:22 AM |

Probably one of my favorite "old" cars, jsut a notch above the 69 mach 1 mustang. Then again im biased, as that was the car my father had. |

youre damn right, I dont know what z31 that guy was working on to say z31s are harder. anything on a z32 takes longer & way more man-hours than a z31. the z31 is heavy though, Ill give em that. the drivetraing isnt that weak. depends on the year/model z31 though. many of us have LSD & the same stock drivetrain that has lasted 20 years! i dont think thats weak at all...... oh yeah & RB shiro Z31 > all

no, 240s (180sx) look like 300 in that year. those ones around 89 still had fronts like our cars. but that Z front clip is consistent w/ the later model Zs (87up?). except for the FMIC, which didnt come stock on the z31s.

But nothing is wrong with the z31. Looks great i assume it handles well because its a nissan and well if jim wolf makes stuff for a car it has potential to be fast |
