Look into methods of running ISOs directly on a PS2 (such as via USB or via internal hard drive) if you're so fixated on it. If you have an old PS3 (such as a 20GB or 60GB) there are also ways to play PS2 games via USB or network connection. An emulator is still the superior way to play, however, as nowadays PCSX2 is capable of playing games even better than the original hardware. |

Generally, but not necessarily. There are some games that still shit bricks in certain areas unless you're using software rendering (Siren, Silent Hill Origins, Gran Turismo 3, Silent Hill 2, etc.) at which point you may as well be playing on a real PS2. Then there's the whole nostalgia thing but that's a personal choice. | ||
