Hello guys and girls.

There will be a tourney held at Golfland USA in Sunnyvale, CA by myself and Lucas ( (^-^)7 ) on Friday night, June 17th, 2016.

They have 4 good condition cabs there and not doing one at Round1 because they do not like cash being handed out on premises and they also want full control over everything.

Friday is the best night because it wont be as crazy there as it is on Saturdays and Sundays due to birthday parties.

Entry is going to be $10 a person and Im working with management to see if we can go without a venue fee of $5 but with the venue fee we will be able to have the cabs on free play during the tourney (no using/paying for your race credits).

1v1, single elimination until top 16, then it goes to double elimination. All matches will be best 2 of 3 unless we have 32+ entrants, we may go 1 race until we get to 32 if we get that many to enter. All maps will be chosen at random by number draw on random.org with all maps being given a number (ex: Akina=1, Akagi=2, etc.). All racers will be given 1 veto for the tournament with vetoes getting reset in grand finals and veto order, if players choose to veto will be chosen by random.org as well (p1 or p2).

No card restrictions except the 3 cars on your card, no swapping to others even if you have 10 full spec cars, pick your 3 and stick with them if you have that many.


All the rules are subject to change and flyers will be up at round1 and golfland this weekend and will also post at fanime this month.

I'm thinking about finding a camera so we can share the videos with the people on the forum. Should be fine right, axel?

@sunny its up to you, I don't have a tripod or camera so if you guys wanna record then you are more than welcome to, I just ask that when setting up or recording you don't get too close to players as that can be a major distraction

Are you going to use challonge for brackets by any chance? I'd love to sign up early or be able to preview the bracket prior to the tourney.

Idk, I have never used challonge to make brackets, only been on there to view
