This just started happening recently. I have a DSL modem, but I keep disconnecting after i receive a phone call. I've never encountered a problem like this before.

Anyone know what the problem might be? Should I contact my ISP or phone company?

Is it a wireless router? If yes, do your phones are wireless? If yes to both questions, those are interferences/hindrance f*king up the wireless and crashes the router. If so, try changing the router's wireless channels... they must be the same than the phone.

DSl over phone line?

Had that problem before, someone cut the neighbors phone line, phone company came and connected to mine, DSL kept dropping out. Called ISP, said not their problem, until I threatened to take my business elsewhere, at which point it was fixed within a couple hours.

Might be something like that. I would call ISP. smile.gif

Do you have a DSL Filter on your phone lines?

The router isn't wireless and the phone by the computer/router isn't wireless either.

We just switched that phone with a wireless phone that was in my brother's room. We tried calling on it and we didn't disconnect, so, I think that's solved.. I hope. lol
