These are some pics I took using the photo modes on Gran Turismo 4. As of right now, the only car i have taken pics of is the '83 Toyota Sprinter Trueno (AKA, the eight-six).

The first 3 are still shots, so there is no movement involved in them. They are basically like photoshoots that you would see in a magazine.

user posted imageuser posted imageuser posted image

The next few are taken from a quick race i did, so they have actual movement in them.

I am taking requsts (In-Race pics only for the time being), so if you want a pic, send me a PM telling me what car you would like in the pic and then I will work out the finer details with you at a later time.

In reality, all of those pictures only span maybe 4 to 5 differnt spots in the race, I just took alot of shots at different angles when i went into photo mode, and so I have different angles on the last pic.

This one has a huge tilt to it...
user posted image

Here's the same thing for those who don't enjoy tilts...
user posted image

And here's a shot of it at a higher angle.

not sure about his particular settings but I get a basic idea from here...
http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=141
in their Drift Setting Depot

That will give you an idea of where to start with your settings, then adjust them to your style.

Then you can do it with just about any FR, MR, or AWD vehicle.

in pictures, you can make it look like anything is drifting. go fast, turn in, countersteer, and snap a pic. the outcome or control means nothing in a single still image.

EXACTLY!! Kudos to you, am3pkcet. Only 80% of the time do I actually drift the cars, otherwise I do it just as am3pkcet said. The pictures only give the illusion of drifting. Making it look just right is a challenge all in it's own however. If it's not just right, then the whole pic looks horribly fake and screwed up. Anyway though, here are some more pics I snapped last night.

Although they are pictures, there's not reallyu anything artsy about them, not to men5tion the 10,000 other gt4 photo threads over in that forum.

Moved to Gran Turismo Central Forum in Gaming.

Why do you have racing tires on your Trueno S12drifter?

Oh no its not good eyesight, its just that i like to look at wheels and if you notice racing tires have bigger wheels than that of sport or normal tires.

Here's a few Evo VII pics I took last night. Notice that they're all on dirt. I think the drifting effect is easier to get on dirt and snow, not to mention that I think it's really fun to drive on dirt and snow tracks.

Here's another request.

Car: Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (In race)
Location: Any place with snow
Specified action: Drifting
Camera angle & location: Show the side of the car that is facing the exit of the corner and a small portion of the front and roof. Tilt the camera a little towards the inside of the corner.
Blur level: Moderate
Tint: None
Other details: Computer wallpaper

Can't give my opinions on the recently posted pics as my net is being too slow to load them.

After seeing this, I decided to give it a shot at drifting pics... Well, most of the pics I take are often still, posing pics...

And yes, the RX-7 has uber ride height, oh yes...
