That should be alright for us I guess. I usually go Fridays after noon at least but lately it's been a bit hectic with our work schedules that we don't go on the same times each week. Saturday seems alright with me.

Update: I went yesterday and today to tune up my ER34, clearing Bunta up to 2 stars on each track (yes, I finally managed to beat Bunta. >:3 Muahahaha!) and even got up to 3 star LotS-- a first for any of my many cars. I even set a few machine course records today in my ER34, one for Shomaru Inbound Dry (3'07'xxx), Shomaru Outbound Dry (3'08'600), and Usui Counter-clockwise Wet (2'56'0xx). I also wrote down all of the team's highest ranking records on the machine for this week on the left side. The right side was unusable yesterday but today it regained tension somehow so it works now. As for the steering wheel not locking I talked with the manager and he said the parts for it are on the way and that it should be fixed sometime soon. Maybe you'll be the first person to try out the new working wheel Eli-person. :3 Until next time!

I can't wait! X3 I just hope I have enough money left to spend by then. :/ Otherwise I'll have to borrow some because where I work is being a bunch of jerkwads and not giving me hours.

I showed up randomly at the mall between classes today and ran into Kyle (Kyouichi) in the arcade. we battled a couple times, he battle level downed me while I was trying to get used to the retarded wheel. Told me about the team.

My card's names are:
Asx (FD RX-7) Akagi DH is 2:26 something, Akina is 3:0Xsomething, Happo times are like 2:31-33
Drift (Cappo) I can't even remember the times on this card it's been so long
Slow (AE86 Levin) Lost sad.gif
Slowr (NA6C) slow ass times, but were fun for battling in B'ham
Fatty (R-34) slow ass times, but fun for birmingham

I'd like to make it out on Saturday, but we'll see what comes up. What time are y'all showing?

So you're Fatty and Drift eh? I remember seeing those times around the model records and whatnot. Not too shabbeh. :3 We should be there some time in the afternoon, say around 1 at least. Maybe even earlier depending on when Scott gets there. The more the merrier.

I know I had fun (until the wheel went out that is). I still can't believe I ran a 3'04 on Shomaru OB Dry. X3 I hope you all had fun too. I haven't seen that many people around Initial D in a long time.

Great day guys. I haven't had this much fun playing in years. We need organize a road trip to Nashville to return the favor. This time we'll not have to worry about home team advantage on crappy machines.

Eli I hope you're going to practice happo cause I'm coming for you on Akagi. With a little luck I'll get down to my times from when I was playing daily.

I'm still amazed at how many people showed up. It was really nice to see people who haven't played in years show up out of the blue like that. :3 Glad you managed to come Eli-person, I think you've inspired us all in some way. I'd also like to welcome Kingbob as an honorary member of our team, welcome aboard.

Kingbob: In your FD, I suspect you can get at least a 26 on Akagi with a bit more practice. :3 I just wish I could do better than a 28 in my ER34, so I'm starting a Silvia Q's to see if I'm missing something. I know I can do Happo a lot better if I wasn't dealing with the muffed-up wheels and super-dark screen. :/ So far I'm stuck with like 2'33's on dry because I keep hitting random walls I can't see.

Damien: There's been a few rumors going around that we're supposed to get a V4 sometime, but for now it's baseless claims. I'd be happy if they just fixed the V3 machines we have like they're supposed to. Or at least put in a better Max Tune game. It's sad how a Namco arcade doesn't have a Wangan 2 or 3 or even take good care of 2 of the V1 we have. The tokens are also starting to get ridiculous because it cost a dollar to play a broke-ass Wangan 1. sad.gif
