To keep things very much into 'Top Gear'... Here's the list of people you can impersonate... hence, only about 8 people can participate. James May (Captain Slow) : Outlaw-2 Richard Hammond (Hamster) : VTiRoj Jeremy Clarkson : Fin-toy Big Stig : MattSAF Tiff Needel : The Stig : Jason Dawe : (Insert a star in the reasonably priced car) : Hey, drifter, which one would you want to impersonate, just to keep things all 'Top Gear'-ish? And by the way, since when was the last time you had your teeth whitened, Hamster? This post has been edited by outlaw-2 on Sep 29 2007, 03:44 AM |

IDW Goldmember Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,133 Member No.: 2,798 Joined: Aug 25th 2004 Location: Levanger, Norway | The local Commander having yet to take a role but is considering John H Davis (Runner of Motorweek, a typical US show) I had a few looks around at some machines, and while their engine specs didn't quite suit me and their luxury outfitting, here are some of my candidates. First up was something American, a classical muscle style with a 3.4 litre V8 engine with 32 valves and an earth shaking amount of 230 pound feet of torque and a sufficient amount of 150 or so wild horses. Sadly the specs don't tell the whole story of the cars luxery options and the brilliant American / Japanese bond. Still this wasn't strong enough so we moved on to something a bit more interesting. The Citröen very well known for the rally success and still a lack of these cars in the US made them an interesting choice in terms of power... However their luxury options weren't very good nor the engine suited my tastes so we let that one go. In the end I decided to go with something that comes from the hand of General Motors and that some say is the king of rust, or thats what IDW's resident R34 driver says anyway. An Opel Vectra or Vauxhall as the brits call them, Vectra with a 3.2 litre V6 engine. With 24 valves per cylinder and 208 Horses I think this car should prove an interesting vehicle. And if that 34 driver is right in his warnings the competition should look out, this thing's rust is contagious meaning it may the sole survivor after the race... |

Well if you see some redbrownish dust on the straight it is probably what's left of them, they rusted to pieces after I infected them with my contagious Opel rust, a powerful weapon, even Aluminium doesn't stand a chance hehehehe. But then again, that Accord is lighter, and probably more tyre friendly than our torque monsters.. |

Always Lurking... Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,760 Member No.: 20,050 Joined: Sep 6th 2006 Location: Singapore | We still have yet to complete the 10-people list. The Stig is still vacant, anyone want to drag Kurei as The Stig? Or at least once The Stig's name has been taken, the second challenge will ensue. EDIT: Looks like the production crew were very impatient about this... Well then... 2nd Challenge With your cars back in stock condition (Turbo/NA tune now removed), you are to head to Germany, the Nurburgring, using these places to reach there... -Cote De Azur -Citta D'Aria Please do post at least two or three pics each of the that you have driven though the place. And of course, make some humourous gags along the way. As you reach Nurburgring, your cars will be topped up with fuel to the brim. From there, you are to go round the circuit as many times as you can until the fuel runs out. Note the amount of laps you have achieved. Not too worry about being stranded halfway, a standby vehicle will come for your aid and fill the car with fuel hence you could return back. Good luck. Damn... My Honda will be sticking out like a sore thumb this time round... This post has been edited by outlaw-2 on Sep 29 2007, 08:41 AM |

Otherwise you'll probably end up in Moscow. *grins smugly and Alfa GT blasts away at full chatter* |

Which mode do we use? AFAIK free run doesnt have fuel consumption... I'll see you both at the 'Ring, or rather, I'll see you both flying off the course because your suspension cannot handle the Nurburgring |

I think the Photo mode should be the one that has the ability to reduce the fuel tank considerably. | ||
