I've been listening/watching old Bemani videos. Really makes you wonder why people rag so much on 1st & 2nd Stage animation ~

When Konami was rocking it all the way to the bank in the Tokyo arcades for YEARS！❤

I think if Initial D 1st and 2nd stage animation looked like those girls, fewer people would rag on it.

Konami was also behind DDR, with very similar music to Initial D.

They do have lots of overlap. But, for some reason, Konami made things look cool, and gained mainstream acceptance, whereas Initial D remained a cult favorite, and was overshadowed by inferior concepts (I'm looking at X Fast X Furious X).

Part I really drives you in, sucks you in to that instrumental of it and as soon as it ends, Part II just rapes your mind and senses. Goddamn I LOVE DWEF!
