I said fun, not competetive. happy.gif
Oh well, if you don't want it that's fine, since this is more concentrated on competetive performance rather than driving pleasure.

I have yet to try out that evo setup...as I have...dangit more dishes already!...as you can see, there are a lot of people consuming clean dishes today, maybe tonight.

Eh my Evo should prove helpful in some way at least, its pretty fast around corners if you hit 'em right

Lupo's 125ish.. and if you like bigger displacements, Fiat Punto Abarth won't let you down.

Eh, idk, i'll have to take a look at them sometime, but they don't seem to be what im looking for either, i was thinking about the SRT-4 but who knows

lol I'm working on it, but I think it's pretty hopeless. reason I was trying to make that car run fast is because nobody uses it, upon comparison I figured out why nobody uses it. It's because of all the 4 cylinder, early 80's shitboxes, that was the shittiest shitbox there ever was. I dunno if they used a minica turbo engine for it, but for a 1800 engine, it was the most sluggish, underpowered engine I ever came across. And my goal was to make an enjoyable early 80's econo/sports car that was lightweight and fun and challenging to drive...well that lancer is obviously not gonna cut it, as much as I wanted to. sad.gif

QUOTE (Kurei @ Feb 20 2007, 07:17 PM)
I tested the 'Race' version at Tsu and got a 0'52.xxx, so its not bad, but it could be much better

You need to tweak the Suspension to pull out the full potential of it in the corners, and also changing your Downforce to different levels would bring it up a few notch's too, i don't know much about BMW's and tuning them so your on your own there, but just some advice, If it can be adjusted, try adjusting it, don't always leave it at default, unless it works for you there.

Anyway im currently thinking about trying a new addition, but i can't decide which car to do, some idea's i have are the Brembo Evo 5 (or 6, not sure), the Nismo R32, a 3000GT, or some type of FF

*Added EDIT* i tried your variation of my evo stidriver, and the changes did make it calmer, and it runs smoother, i'll update my setup post, thanks happy.gif

Yeah try to tune a FF car to run as fast as normal Fr's. to me it sort of seems impossible xD

it isn't impossible. actually I did already build one last night, a demonic red Pug 106 S16. though, the main point is handling, not the speed.. well, it's quite fast too. whistling.gif

What a hairy beast to drive.. fear2.gif after that, 250bhp feels like walk in the park.

I'm currently creating Bunta's Toyota 2000GT, that is featured in Sanae's story. I'll keep it fairly stock, since it's damn well balanced for such an old car. And what a beauty she is.. wub.gif The car, not Sanae.. or, well, I don't know if sanae is pretty.. heck, I don't know if sanae is a girl or boy! ermm2.gif whistling.gif

Lol, but how was it? Was it a tough one to handle? I had trouble at some corners as well. The downforce totally disappeared at times. XD

and now, my demonic ( or should I say reptilian?) addition to the GT-R's:

Gekko-R!

user posted imageuser posted image

This car started as humble try of replicating and improving performance over Mine's R34, but it got out of hands and became a handling monster that eats Mine's car for breakfast. Like the reptile it's named after, this beast just grips and goes exactly there where you want it to go.

Lol, but the speed of the Berserker is at least 40kmh more. tongue.gif I assume that yours have more acceleration? Also, your final gear is set at 3.545, mine is at 2.500. The smaller the number, the better acceleration is. Yes, you may think I have the edge, but take note, my first three gears are made to be wide while the last three are made to be quick. tongue.gif But in anyway, I'll give it a try.

P.S. why is everyone using downforce 30? Doesn't that compromise the speed?

But it makes up for it in corners and braking. Two things I will take over speed. But to help top speed, GT4 has some weird way of increasing it if you put on full downforce at the rear and as little as possible on the front. This really works, I was able to pull 433 km/h with my TVR.

and the new addition to my garage is..

Crossfire MFT ClubSport 410 .

user posted image

It looks like american retro model from the top, but underneath it's the unholy result of platform sharing, just like it's big brother, 300C, is. This car is actually M-B SLK, with american engine.
The engine has been tickled into it's full potential, and instead of asthmatic 200ish horsepower it delivers 410BHP, thus the name MFT ClubSport 410.
The suspension has been modified as well, improving the already good driving characteristics of this car. At it's current state, it's running neck to neck with other 400bhp+ cars, and it's very competitive in track use, despite wearing sports medium tires on it's wide 5-spoke rims.
The car has also gone thru a tight diet, bringing it's weight under 1200kg. In addition, original spoiler was removed and replaced with GT-style carbonfiber wing.

Fully modified, S2's, wing, oil change, stage 3 weight reduction, 1-way diff, no aids nor roll cage.

BBC: 5/3

Suspension
SR: 5.0/7.5
RH: 105/120
DBS: 5/6
DBRS: 6/8
C: 3.0/2.0
Toe: 0/-2
Stab: 3/6

stock gearbox

downforce: 30/20

feel free to try it out and review it.

MFT Evolution VI TME "Black Widow", The ultimate grip monster

user posted image user posted image

This car was built for one thing: to beat Evolutions that were featuring that fancy AYC-gadget. The car was bought used, and was fully upgraded with best possible parts available, and after finishing up with the parts, the car spent many hours under horrible torment, beaten around track while its FC LSD was adjusted for best possible grip and turning ability.
The result is nothing else but a hardcore track machine, ready for Touge or JGTC, which ever suits your desires.

The name Black Widow came from it's bad habit of letting the rear loose under hard braking and turning for corner. Usually it turns into graceful AWD-drift, but sometimes the wall is too close.. so be mindful when giving her proper booting, because she'll bite your head off more agressively than most of supercars would.

What you need:

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TME '00 (black, used, from the last used car lot, oil change and chassis refresh needed.)

Parts list:
Racing exhaust
Racing chip
Port polish
Engine balancing
S3/R3 tyres
Stage 3 turbo
Racing Large intercooler
Racing brakes
Brake balance controller
Racing suspension
FC gearbox
3-plate clutch
Racing flywheel
Carbon propeller shaft
GT-Wing
FC LSD
VCD
Weight reduction stage 3
Chassis refresh

after these modifications your car should have 513bhp and 588nm of torque.

BBC:5/3

AIDS: none.

Suspension:
SR: 5.5/5.0
RH: 110/110
DBS: 3/4
DBRS: 4/6
Camber: 3.0/1.5
Toe: 0/3
Stab: 3/5

Downforce: 30/25, adjust to your liking if needed

Gearbox: adjust to suit the track or personal preferences

LSD:
Initial: 35/10
Accel: 30/15
decel: 5/5

VCD: 50/50

With this setup, the car did 6'45.308 at Nurb, while topping out at 282km/h. With longer gear ratio, faster time is possible. It's the fastest sub 600bhp car I've driven on the 'ring this far.

Please, remember to TRY IT OUT and REVIEW IT, mmkay? Because FEEDBACK is something that even real world tuners need to know how to adjust the car.
