Hmm... Something tells me that the 'Special Mentions' class maybe the most heated up battle soon. Mine, I'm not too sure. But I assume Kurei's might be a full-time 4WD? Fin-Toy's might be the R32, and Sweeper might be the R34. Me? Not too sure. Maybe the R33.

Either a 2.6 litre twin turbo or something with a high displacement....

well, I guess I could bring out low-powered versions of my traction monsters.. I have atleast 2 500bhp-class monsters, and some nice little things for 200hp and 300hp-classes.. what kind of setups you would like to have for these tracks? grip or drift?

You got yourself a competitor in the 300hp range battle; my 296bhp Nissan Skyline GTS-T Type M. Well, tested it several times, you'll probably like how the coupe slips through the corners, without any LSD. Does well on Tsukuba, but not too sure on Laguna. Somehow, we really need that section (up till time section 10) of the Nurb to test the cars' full potential. Sweeper's BMI really showed the car's weakness in the Nurb.

So far, here's my confirmed list...

300hp Range
- Nissan Skyline GTS-T Type M

500hp Range
- Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec 99' aka Tommykaira R

Special Mentions
- Nissan Skyline GT-R 89' aka Angel R Mark II (740bhp)
- Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec LM imited 96' aka Avenger R (755bhp)
- Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur 02' aka Berserker R Mark II (911bhp)
- Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur 02' aka Berserker R Lite (571bhp)

True for the Nurb thing outlaw, but i thought, let's bring some change to this thing

besides, any Hot Version watcher knows that Tsukuba isn't a track to think away

I'm gonna change Laguna Seca to something else, dunno what, if anyone can provide me with video footage of the afore mentioned Nurb section, might make the decision easier(unless it's the previous BMI sector, then i know enough)

The Special Mentions, i stated before, ONLY if you have another car in one of the other classes, you can bring another car that exceeds any bhp limit as a Special Mention car, thank you

I see, so I'll need another two cars in the other classes to balance it out, right? If so, I'll be looking into another two cars, possibly a Skyline 300GT and Skyline 350GT-8

Sweeper only went to T5 in his videos, T10 goes right up to the long backstraight IIRC

My bad there, yeah, should be T5; right around the north part of the map, before the speed section there. Somehow, Sweeper's commentary back then was amusing as well. I can remember one part...

"As you can see now- Oh Shit!"

LOL yeah the car was living its own life...
And I had problems doing proper downshifts too, so overall it was a pain to drive.
But not as bad as my Traction Monster 2 R34 GT-R which was supposed to be a big power project.
That thing jumped around on the bumps and was instant control loss.

Well, once I'm ready with my set of cars (Obviously all of them will bear the Skyline name), I'll just post it here so everyone including the contestants can give it a go. Should be 8 Skylines, I think.

I guess I should quote Sweeper from the last BMI topic just to remind anyone whos new to this, since Flex didnt mention it in the first post tongue.gif

QUOTE
Note on settings:
Anything you want put on your car MUST be listed, this also goes for the traditional parts like carbon shaft, transmission, tripple clutch, weight reduction and body stiffness.
Failure to add such info, we will assume it is stock and we will not change it which could mean your car will be running with stock stiffness or stock weight for an example even if that wasn't your intention, we do allow cars to run with stock weight and stiffness though so we do not assume you ment that.
Same goes for settings, if you list a brake balance controller in your parts list but do not list any settings for it we will assume stock settings and will not touch it.
These facts are just put here to make everything a bit more clear.

Also could I add when PM'ing cars and settings, say what colour/whees/spoilers are used, incase any of the judges are prepared to take pics or make video happy.gif

Don't worry, the HCR32 sisters are RWDs, though they are getting twitchy in the Nurb. And a shocker, the Berserker R did well with the Nurb (First time played it in there) Though, the gears used are mostly up to 4th, while the 5th and 6th are used to increase grip.

Well I am thinking RWD here of various ages...
I was planning on GT-R but I realize the only serious contender for that is my current one and well, I don't want to submit that.

Maybe I could try some ... full time yon dabalyu di cars... But It'll be notorious for having crazy understeer. No wonder I'm referring to the WRC cars as a reference. But I'm not going to use any known cars that made into WRC. Who knows, maybe a dark horse out of nowhere made by Audi.

As for FF... hmm.. may actually use it for the 200hp range. Maybe a Toyota or Honda of sorts...
