I think you're going to have some problems with that schedule. 9PM PST is 12AM EST, which means anybody that has a usual workweek (mon-fri) is not going to be able to listen since we're too busy sleeping at that time.

On the other hand, my shows are at 11 PM PST, which puts it well out of grasp of lots of the eastern United States. But listeners show up anyway.

I figure he can give it a shot. As long as his slot doesn't go over anyone else's (I don't think it does) there's no problem with that.

Just needs to get himself a good mic. Who knows, he could be the next Dave Rodgers.

The time is one thing, but the day is the issue. Sunday night is never the best choice.

Perhaps he could take on the (early) weekday nights like me?

Okay then. Since neither myself nor InitialDRulz are performing on our regular Saturday night timeslots (9PM-11PM PST), you could easily muscle yourself in there so you're after Hashi and before Nomake Wan's slots. That's two hours of free time that the other DJs usually negotiate over, so I'm sure you could get yourself situated right there. You would have a primetime slot, and the chat room is always filled out on Saturdays, so you'd have it pretty well made.

The wonderful thing about weekday schedules (which I quickly noted and took advatage of with the Midnight Shift) is that there is a ton of free time that anybody can take if they want to. The radio's overlying rule is that the Eurobeat/Wangan Midnight music has the floor from 4AM-4PM PST. Anything that doesn't encroach on that block is fair game.

Dave Rodgers played stuff early in the morning because he could. I played some epic shows on weekday nights because I could.

The radio has a lot of freedom about it. So long as you don't bust the very few cardinal rules, you're golden. Just find something that works with both yourself and the audience.
