I'm on the air right now. Playing mainly Pink Floyd and whatever else is on this computer. I'll switch CDs in a little bit. I'm learning right now so everything is kind of sketchy.

Wooo!!! Initial D World Radio 133.7 The Leet. I just finished my first hour DJing and no one listens during the day so it was kind of awkward and embarrassing talking to myself and it's hard to switch CDs and keep stuff going. Thanks Dan the Man, DJ Kerxn, for helping me get stuff to work right and Steve the Beaner for being one of my test monkeys.

Ah I see... I barely heard someone apparently talking on the phone during a break between songs... So now I know who it was...

Click on the Radio Broadcast link on the top user tool and look at the Stream Title. smile.gif
Everything is still in beta stage. So please give us more feedbacks. Official launch will be in a few days. It'll be announced on go2id.net's main page as well.

You need to walk me through this so that people can hear the IDWF Online song as it was meant to be heard. XD

What would you all recommend using for listening to this? So far the only player I have that's capable is the Quicktime player. Is Winamp that much better or worth it to download?

Winamp plays, as does Amarok (Linux) and iTunes. So whichever one you want should work... tongue.gif

Just download the Lite version of winamp and install the basics. It's the best thing you can use aside from VLC to listen.

Is VLC better for this than Winamp? I've used VLC in the past to view video that WMP couldn't handle.

you can find that out when you click on the radio broadcast button at the top. it has a song history tab.

btw, you might want to invest in a few different quality streams for maybe a larger audience (not everyone can stream 96kbs of audio smoothly).

Yeah it only shows like the past 15 songs and if there have been like 30 + songs then yeah. you can't see them.

I am currently learning how to multi-stream in different bitrate concurrently. 32kbps will be made available for dial-up users if I find out how to accomplish that and get the OK from thewird.

Yeah, and you don't have parents to answer to. Keep in mind I'm 16 and still get b*tched at for being up all night. You're under your own roof, I'm under theirs.

Take a really long extension for the headset, leave your computer on, and listen under the covers? laugh.gif
