| I just started playing and I love initial D so I obviously chose the AE86 and I was doing ok with it in the first easy area and cleared myogi, and the first racer of the 2nd area but I can't beat the next. If I hit anything at all it takes forever to get my speed back and they smoke me in the straightaways so I was wondering what car is best for a beginner? Though I love takumi's AE86. I don't think I am quite skilled enough for it yet. |

Don't go for the DC2 just because it is the best ranked. The game is easy enough to beat with any car, just choose whichever you like.  |

| hmm that's a good point. My fave is the ae86 but I can't seem to beat the next guy with it. Maybe I should just beat the last guy I could for awhile till I get it upgraded little more. it's almost impossible for me to catch up to an opponent once they've passed me. |
