I've done this to stop myself from spamming up Takkun's screenshot thread (where ive uploaded various ones ive already taken) here i'll be posting various shots of characters, races, and cars from the episodes and will be updating it whenever possible Takkun's screenshot thread is here ~ https://idforums.net/index.php?showtopic=9526 .. in which, ive uploaded screens of the FD/FD battle, FC3S, Kyoko, and the Project D aces feel free to request specific screens (i.e. particular car, character or battle) and also feel free to save them and use them for your own works (but please request my permission if u wish to post these on ur own pages or wherever, thankyou) ~ ill do what i can when i have time to fulfill all screenshot requests How i take my screenshots: ok .. i know most people are like just pause the player on the ideal scene/shot, press the 'print screen' button on ur keyboard, open paint, paste, then save .. BUT .. this has not worked for me as there is one important action missing ... ok i use Windows Media Player and after trying the above format, the shot wont save ~ i get the player, background, everything else but the scene from the clip .. ok to prevent this before u watch the episode of clip u wanna take ur screenshot from, u have to turn off the video accelation on ur player (remember this applies to windows media player .. im not sure about others) ... to do this u go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > PERFORMANCE > then in the bottom panel entitled 'Video Acceleration' drag the indicator to the far left so it is under 'None' > APPLY this will now allow u to take ur screenshots and save them properly .. but the drawback is that since the accelaration is turned off, u wont be able to skim through the episode to find ur desired scene and instead will have to watch the entire episode until u reach ur scene before u can take that screenshot remember to return the video acceleration back to full after taking ur shots so ur player will be back to its default settings ok, here we go: Episode 4 - Keisuke vs. Smiley Sakai This post has been edited by xxxkHOLiC on Mar 26 2006, 10:45 PM |

Sorry i don't have 3rd Stage on my computer, and 4th Stage is what im specialising in at the moment. I'll try and get some 86 vs. Miata pics when i can, i don't have RAW versions of episodes 1 and 2 so they may not be a high in quality as my other screenshots. Anyways here's more screenshots. Episode 7 - S15 appearance, and S15 vs. S13 sequence

Yeah, i love that Takumi "super-saiyan look" .. that was my very first screenshot i ever took! Another thing about it was that Takumi looked like this after the battle ~ so picture a before and after sequence of these shots During battle After battle This post has been edited by Smiley_DC2 on Nov 20 2004, 04:46 PM

xkhol, Ok i just re-watched episode 7 to try and get that shot for u but unfortunately was unable to. The entire shot with the red aura surrounding the GC8V had the 86's bumper in it and there was no clear shot at all. I did, however, take some more Takumi vs. Bunta action shots so enjoy everyone.

This was from episode 6 during the Takumi vs. Tomo battle. Nothing was explained this this specific shot, but it led to the scene in which he was explaining his reasons for choosing Takumi over Keisuke to represent Project D. He discussed how his 2 aces were comprised of an orthodox and unorthodox racer, the orthodox being Keisuke who has had more formal training (under Ryosuke), who uses circuit-derived skills and applies them to street racing, while the other is the unorthodox racer, Takumi, who is a pure street specialist unrestricted to the rules of formal training and circuit driving and; therefore, would possess more adaptability. In addition, Tomoyuki is himself an othodox racer and would by nature underestimate the skills and experience of Takumi. All these factors are Ryosuke's mind games to secure any advantage possble to win the battle. edit - u sure it was this pic u wanted quoted? i would've figured a question like this would refer to the pic with ryosuke, the 86 tacho and the 86 in it .. (sorry, that sounded a little rude didn't it ) This post has been edited by Smiley_DC2 on Nov 25 2004, 02:39 PM

Ryosuke was referring to the side-by-side start in which the Takumi vs. Tomoyuki battle began where the EK9 seemed to hold back and the AE86 going all out (or close to it), and how that simple action would've exposed many points (possible weaknesses and technical characteristics) to Tomoyuki already, such as the rev bands, maximum power output, gear ratios. In addition, with Tomoyuki being well skilled as well as experienced it may allow him to pick up on these things to formulate his own strategies.

I edit some of the image posts occassionally so be sure to check regularly for added piccies and whatnot. I've decided to add all the screens ive posted in Takkun's thread, just in case there is anybody who has not seen them yet. @ Demon86Trueno: Well thats up to the moderators (whether to pin this thread or not), which i don't mind either way because regardless i'll be keeping this as updated as much as possible so don't worry. It won't be until 4th stage is over that this will start to die down a little This post has been edited by Smiley_DC2 on Nov 25 2004, 06:14 PM |

Yeah i didn't take a shot of that ... it's awesome during the episode but looked really bland to me as a screenshot. If i have time later on, i'll try again and see if i can get a decent shot of it. Anyways, more character screens!
