Hey guys, just thought I would make a thread for the GT Academy event. Please mention which region your in.

I've got WEST region.

My times for each course:

Tsukuba: 1:06.892
Rome: 1:24.227
Cape Ring: 2:51.076
Total: 5:22.195

20th overall for my region w00t2.gif .
UPDATE: dropped to 43rd now =(

I know I'm gonna get knocked down if I don't keep improving. It's only the first day laugh.gif . Cape Ring seems to be the best place to drop time. Tuned car on a high speed course happy.gif

Sweet times. East region here. Tomorrow is when I'll start trying the courses. Good luck to everyone here on idfourms. I hope someone from our group wins something.

I was busy messing around with the other special events so I only had time to do one course for now. Managed to get 20th place in the midwest so far. Probably dropped down by now though.

Tsukuba - 1:06.090

I'll update tomorrow when I do the other two.

I didn't make it. I ended up somewhere in the high 200s. I might have made it if i had put more effort into it, but near the end i was getting too frustrated with it.

Please let us know how you do in Round 2 (if you made it). Hope you do well wink2.gif

I guess people are abusing the corner cutting tactic on the indy road course. You can cut through the grass in the area by those small hairpins. Hopefully PD does something about it.
