Heh, I've flipped a couple cars so far in that game. Nascar and something else I can't remember. When it happened, I was like "woah, I didn't know you could do that."

Rolled my SX4 on the snow track at one of the first corners. Took me by surprise at first. Good pic though. laugh.gif

Maybe in rally or nascar, but I'll be damned if I can get one to flip in normal play.

Had it happen to me actually... One of the trophies you get is for flipping your car...

I wanted to throw this out here, cause there was some comparison videos recently which seem to suggest Forza AI is better than GT5's... This video clarifies that the videos were lies...

I flipped my Buick Special multiple times at the High Speed Ring. Got hooked and over she went.

What the video shows is they can dodge a stationary object. What about while driving? Or when they cut into your line? Or when they clip your rear bumper to spin you out? Or when they hit and drag against you, making no effort to turn away after hitting?

After putting hundreds of hours into GT3, GT4, and FM3, I can safely say FM's AI is vastly better. In the 100 or so races I've had in GT5 so far, I am disappointed greatly with the lack of growth in their AI system. If it is any better than previous GT titles, it's not enough to notice in a race.

The point the original video showcased was that Forza's AI dodges and apparently GT5's doesn't... This video showed that the original video was designed in a way to make it look that way and that it wasn't true...

I am starting to think my friend (and fellow IDWer Akira) is right... Forza is probably the better game, but it is definitely not the better simulation...

That's fine, and I don't have a problem with that particular issue. But the bigger point remains that the AI in Gran Turismo is total garbage.

Stock 205 T16, very drifty

Also, I found a bug with the '90 FC3S GT-X, the premium one. It's tuned so I don't know if it's like this when it's stock, but the tacho doesn't go to 8k but 4k and the speedo goes over 180kph, all the way to 0-20-40-... when accelerating in the cockpit view, the digital readout is fine.

Were the other Group B monsters like the Delta S4 and RS200 in GT5? I have yet to see them on the used car list.
