I've been racing an RX-8 for quite some time, since I started playing actually, and I've really gotten tired of how clunky the car feels...so I bought an RX-7 (FC3S, Ry (Ryousuke)'s car). For Nostalgia, I took Ry (Ryousuke)'s color and Ry (Ryousuke)'s body parts, cause I'm a manga fan.

Any tips I should know about the FC3S? Im trying to get used to turning, it's MUCH quicker and sharper than in the RX-8. Im finding myself taking corners at full throttle that I normally would have to downshift and brake for. Im also finding myself turning way too far and slamming into a wall... whistling.gif

you're proabably slamming into walls because you're full throttling turns, the only place you can really do that is happo....and there are still hairpins on happo too....and the FC oversteers(slides) so you need to learn to turn a little earlier and avoid rain...

Nah its not because im full throttling, its because Im actually turning the wheel itself too far than what I need to. Im used to having to turn my wheel most of the way to get that big hunk of metal the RX-8 to start turning, and when I turn it that much in this thing, FWOOSH, it turns much faster...thus me not expecting it and hitting the wall. I just need to turn the wheel less unsure.gif

I havn't tried it yet in the FC, but I'm pretty sure im going to have trouble on Akina downhill. Same place that always messes me up every time I try to race that track.

It's that very wide turn about halfway through the track, that as your going along, it suddenly turns sharply to the left, then to the right, and to the left again. Right after that is a downhil to a U-Turn a long a cliff, im sure you know what I mean.

Every time I tried that in the RX-8, I wouldn't turn enough and i would hit the wall, I would try to downshift to drift around...causing me to lose a bunch of speed for some reason. Or if i manage to get around that corner, I would try to turn again for the next quick right turn, then have to go left, only to find myself with zero control and sliding straight forward into the wall...

Will I have that trouble on the FC with the sharp handling?

no, apparently, you didn't know that akina is the RX-8's weakness, the RX-8 understeers on akina too much....but the FC oversteers, which is actually a very good thing on akina...the FC should feel much faster on akina, you'll need to brake less because the FC is drift happy

It was downgraded a LOT from V2. In V2 it was about on the top ten but now in V3 it's 19th. It is also underpowered but drift happy.
