Since I've been out and about, didn't have time to head home to cook something, so I just picked up the $4 deal with the chicken sandwich and the hamburger to eat later tonight, chicken is yummy, little bit of spice from the pepper, but that's about it. Cost? Free! Thanks to winning a random end of the week raffle in class. 5 buck gift cards are awesome.

APX, does that mean Your have all of a buck now on your gift card? That's pretty awesome though. I love Carls. They usually have the best quality fast food and employees in these parts but the Wendy's and the Chick Fil A are giving them a run for their money.

Cross posted from recent purchase but with the added information of why. I needed a quick snack I could eat at my desk but I was craving something both filling and stupid flavorful and spicy so I made the rice balls and way over-seasoned the rice and fish. Oh well, I'm not sharing anyway

My 4K!ds Survival pack is assembled and I'm ready for my terrible American localization- includes Southern Comfort Apple Juice, my knives that only banish people to the shadow realm, my magazines filled with bullets for my invisible gun (never to be used or also for shadow realm banishment or 'defeating' combatants), spicy tuna 'jelly filled donuts' and emergency chocolate for any other snack a non Asian audience might not know about.

So, my cousin had a baby this week, and my great aunt came over to spend a week or two to help him and the mother out for a bit, so she made dinner (well, she bought chicken and etc, and steamed/cooked some corn in water) and this was the end result.

In case you haven't had this before, it's just butter (you can opt out) mayonnaise and some sort of cheese (it's a nice stinky kind, not blue cheese) and if you want, chili as well. Not sure if this is a totally Mexican thing but this stuff is so goddamn delicious! Good thing I only had one, and tomorrow? TURKEY!

So this week or something was Teachers Appreciation Week or something, so I decided to make some brownies for them, not just typical chocolate brownies, what kind? Lemon!

Made a glaze with real lemon juice and grated some lemon zest as well with the glaze. Maybe should have did a somewhat bigger batch because it was still a bit sweet. But they loved it! It was also a mothers day gift for them as well, since most of the teachers as the compound are women (Few guys, but they got some)

Now since it's getting close to the end of the school year, we're getting a pizza party. Might make something with fresh strawberries.
