And the carbon buildup, and the shitty plastic charge pipe, and the electric water pump... Need me to continue? Also, how are you able to pull off a 135i but can't grab an E46 M3?They're basically the same price range for good examples.

I guess I'm out of ideas then, other posibility is a Lancer Ralliart but my German gf has her heart set on a BMW lol Was also entertaning MK5 GTi's despite my hate for VW |

I have a few days in the garage to put in on it to get it ready for sale; just to get caught up on some unscheduled maintenance items I've been putting off. But it's been dead reliable despite them. It has the DSG so it'll be automatic enough for you. Plenty of room in your budget for upgrades too. Just throwing out out there. Regardless, anything on the Golf platform is a solid option; Golf, Jetta, A3. All great cars that handle well and respond well to mods. |

After which year did they fix the cam follower issues? Do you know anyone that tracks these cars regularly? Want to see how they hold up over time and what kind of issues they have.

I've driven the first gen xB quite a bit as they are part of our company fleet, so ask away about it if interested. Not much experience with the second gen as it seems to have lost the magic with the redesign. |

Still waiting for Toyota to reveal the gr86, but on paper, the next gen BRZ looks to be fairly solid on paper. Yes, it won't make people expecting a turbo happy, but addresses the dreaded torque dip of the first gens while not adding much weight, slightly improved interior, lower COG + stiffer chassis to boot |
