Just for more information, we could handle this a couple ways:
  • One massive battle once again, then continue with member battles
  • One massive battle, then be ranked in the place we finished then have battles with 1/2, 3/4, 4/5; then move to member battles.
  • Just start off with member battles.

let's start with #3.

We could get people to warm up to the idea, and then go all-out in a super battle once the thread is well-established.

so anyone wanna challenge me?

(himt: Easy win for the most part, unless I pull something outta my ass)

EDIT: Oh and BTW, if we are gonna have another full-out sig contest (and maybe for this), should we have judges? (IE mods, admin; more for the contest than challenges) We could all judge each others' works and set it up poll-style for each round and let /idw/ have at it.

Well, since we have Sensation offering to judge, would anyone else be interested?

And also, for round 1 who should go up against who?

well since its 1v1 right now, we can have the non-contenders judge.
i plan on judging forever unless someone challenges me, ill either accept or decline depending on my mood and the sig deadline.

id really like to see Takumi Drift come by and challenge people to a D-D-D-DDDD-DUEL
also i think this topic might get more recognition if we advertised it abit more :\

Alright first battle will start on wednesday. I'll pick a number and you only get one guess. The two closest will battle if that's okay just to start things out. I'll judge the first battle just to make things easier. smile.gif

Pick a number between 1-200. You only get one guess. smile.gif

I do remember us doing some sort of graphics competition, but it's been a damned long time, and I don't remember anything about it failing but I could be wrong. The only thing wrong with that old competition was people had a hard time keeping their art anonymous for judging purposes. While everyone has a style and some are identifiable, we liked to try to keep the artist a mystery until the end so we could prevent any bias. This worked until people like Rayn added signature style borders, a no-no.
