This will be a pilot tour so to speak. It will be used to gauge how much interest there are for people from outside of Japan to participate. From what we know so far, international and local bookings of the tour will begin in October and the tour will last three consecutive days in December, just after the Tokyo Motorshow. If you are planning to visit Japan in December, then this is definitely something to keep an eye out for. For many years, Initial D fans can only talk about or dream about driving in roads featured in Initial D. It literally is a dream to drive in one of these mountain pass with cars shown in Initial D. These tours are perfect opportunities for die-hard Initial D fans that want to get behind the wheel of cars they've always dreamed of driving——and to drive them hard on some of the most epic touge roads in the world up and around the lakes and mountains surrounding Mt. Fuji. As Adam Zillin (owner of 7Tune) put it, this is about bringing the dreams to life. We here at Initial D World wholeheartedly agree. If only I could visit Japan in the near future, I can die happily. Of course, if the tours in December turn out to be a huge success, they will be doing this regularly. So share this news with people you know that will be visiting Japan around December. (smile) We will keep you posted on this. | Read More | » INITIAL DRIVE tour to launch in December | http://facebook.com/go2id/photos/10153208649995402 » Initial D Seichi Junrei Hakone Edition | http://facebook.com/go2id/photos/681073558574979 Image size reduced, original size: 1000 x 1563.
