I would rather not share a line with the rest of my street, besides, i have never had a problem with my DSL, i had to release/renew my IP once, but thats it, and coming from dial-up, it seems lightning fast.

I have a friend who has DSL, and download speeds are slower than my cable speeds...Average d/l speed is around 300kb/s, if you leech off a Kazaa user with high bandwidth (About around 1000)...I think he told me his was like 200kb/s...

I havn't had any problem with my cable service yet...

And I'll probably have to get an accurate connection speed rate next time I'm over at his house, since this was just a close guess to what we usually get... http://bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/
