I was just curious if anyone still dabbled in the CCG. I play a lot of tabletop miniature games with a few groups of friends and we bust out the Initial D cards every once in a while when we need a change of pace. Am I alone here? grin2.gif

Probably. That game is deader than Elvis and it was barely marketed before it disappeared. I don't expect too many people have the cards anymore.

What kind of deck do you use? I've got a Tak one with tons of card draw, an Iggy one that uses his ability to boost Tactics Strength stacked with the seat card that does the same thing and a K.T. deck with tons of strength-switching.

I have the entire 1st set (except the promo cards) and I had a short one off print of the unreleased set made for myself.... So I have a Kyoichi; a Keisuke; a Celica etc. I have a lot of fun with dead card games. I've been getting back into the UFS card game since it died.

I'm fairly sure that I still have my promo decks somewhere at home back in Iowa. All of my old stuff is just sitting in the attic waiting for my return, so it might still exist unless it got lost during the last move.

I never actually played the game because I never got a guidebook of any sort with the decks I acquired. I had every promo card that was included in the manga limited editions, and a few promo decks from random events I attended back when Tokyopop was just starting their DVD release.

If anyone with promo decks/cards would be willing to mention the names of them it would be cool. I know the pdfs are missing a few of them at least and I'd love to know their effects so I can at least proxy. Good to see it's not completely dead.

@JK: My LGS just marked their UFS booster packs down to .29 a pop grin2.gif I nearly picked up a starter for a bucka and a couple.
