Why am I not surprised that NVidia would pull thi- oh, wait.

Wondering if it's just the 980M or if it affects a ton of Mobile Maxwell GPUs.

Why does it matter? Overclocking a GPU results in a couple FPS and way more heat and current draw. It's not worth it like overclocking your CPU is.

Kind of figured. Either way, my experience with Maxwell GPUs have been... Well, quite pleasant so far, so I never understood the reasons to overclock GPUs.

You're not overclocking a GPU unless you are into voltage mods. tongue.gif
