That answers my question. Something happened to my comp. last night where this popup or something came up and now my homepage is set at some kind of search site and it won't go back to what I want it to be. I am having the computer teacher at the school where my mom and dad work to fix the problem.

Your browser was hijacked via spyware.

This should fix every signal spyware prob you have.Which I assume is over 200.

http://security.kolla.de/

Use it,and don't download spyware loaded programs such as Kazaa.Use the spyware free versions.

I saved him the trouble by giving him the link of the site.

You know why? 100 bucks says that you have system recovery on,which backed up the virus.Even if you have it patched,as long as that virus is backed up,your F**ked.

Whats your virus doing? Is it that virus that turns your IE window in to some other search engine besides the one you had set?

Yeah if you have it backed up in your system recovery you need to update it. LOL i dont even use mine i thought it was the dumbest thing you can stick in a computer. Still do but thats just my opinion.

It does remove it,you have to check it!!!!!! On startup it makes you check every single so you relealize the crap on your PC.Then goto recovery and purge all of the files after you deleted them. Then set the Internet blocker on high and install it.It works, trust me,it even removes MSblast aka Blaster virus.

I got that browser-jacking spyware once. I just deleted every registry key that included the name of the site, re-installed Internet Explorer, and then it was fixed. Not recommended for people who are inexperienced with computers, though....

how about you just download the latest windows patches??

oh, and kazaa lite DID get shutdown, the program still works, but you cant download it from their website anymore - Kazaa got pisses off at the people taking their software and getting the spyware out of it, so I think they took them to court sad.gif
