You can put whatever modification on your 86, because most of the parts doesn't have much differences; if there's differences, then the differences is just minimal, well it's just an arcade racing, not simulation racing.
Just modify to your liking, that look's cool happy.gif

If I were the original poster, I'd just keep doing TA on the course, just keep trying to beat your previous time.

The S2000 is the course car for Tsukuba Outbound, which means that it gets 148 kmh max on 5th gear, fully tuned, in Time Attack mode.

Of course it depends on how good your rival is, but you probably won't want to take an S2000 on Myogi Uphill versus those accel monsters tongue.gif

But then again, if you're that good, it could be a lot of fun smile.gif

What I've heard is that a fully tuned FD can hit 147.5 kmh, I'm just not sure whether on outbound or inbound.

And there's this Japanese guy, Pika from SevenRotarySpirits, who clocked in a 2' 45" 633 on outbound dry in an FD:

Practice, practice, practice. It will come to you naturally once you know the game by heart.

Actually I just full-tuned my FC today cool.gif
My Evo III's up next.

I was planning to get an FD . . . now I'm sure it's fast and corners well, but I found the feedback on dry roads ridiculously stiff tongue.gif

And yes, there's nothing quite like the twisties on OB smile.gif

^well if you have a team, you will have someone to brainstorm with in a course, and you will have someone to spot you in your errors in TA.

@ Dark_Mini: Could you please clarify what you meant by that? Did you mean how to avoid hitting the gutters, or was that something else?
