or perhaps Keisuke played some mind games with Ikeda to mess his rhytm

But here Rysouke and Rin are way too focused to each other than paying any attention to Ikeda which means that ikeda can fully concentrate on staying behind those 2

The series doesn't generate interest with me as a monster of the week type deal that it is now. My luck I'm gonna check back some time from now and there's gonna be some bullcrap about how:

Fumihiro "Good work Ryosuke; only you would know that he had a terminal disease and that he would die just as he was approaching the finish line."

Ryosuke "Yes I knew racing would make him die even faster and so I raced him as hard as I could. The radiation my FC was modified to emit also helped!"

^ That rings pretty true for me as well. I honestly can't keep up with the race order anymore because there's no unique hook to any of the rivals past Godhand/Godfoot.

This next section of episodes (as in right after 4th stage) relate of more to drama and technical theories, along with superstitious belifes that help the storyline develop into the grand finale of Initial D. This last half of it brings an in-depth story about all the Project D team, and how far they have come. In 4th stage it was mostly about growing, learning the technical side to Ryosuke's theories and instructions, and breaking boundries. In 4th stage Takumi had developed further into a racer as so did Keisuke. However the storyline that has been going on now reminds me of 1st stage, as in more behind the scenes detailed look of Project D, no longer a new team. They have tons of enemies as time past, especially Ryosuke, but now Takumi and Keisuke are as cold as ice. They are true racers with dozens of experience, even more. I really cant wait to see this in full colour animation.

fuji_tak came across a rumour that Kyoichi appears in the next chapter, which turned out to be false, that is why he was brought up...

I assume it to at least get up to beginning of the Rin vs Ryosuke race?

the problem of death god is the opposite of Nakazato problem. For nakazato the front of his GTR was too heavy. For death god it's the back that is too heavy.
Moreover new FC is light. But it seems that the 3 cars enter on the last section, the most dangerous.

1 thing that i don't understand here, how come a front engined with high power car like GTR can be heavier at the back side than at the front confused2.gif

It's impossible for the weight ratio to completely change to being predominantly heavier in back without ballasting or additional equipment in the back.

What he may be describing is that the way Hojo's car is set up, the car's balance on corners is getting destabilized because the back is too heavy. On a high power car with a good driver and a chassis set up that tries to get the most out of the tires and power, this means enhancing the natural oversteer characteristics of the GT-R on turn in. The problem is if you are wearing out the rear wheels faster than the front, your car even though it might have been properly balanced at the beginning of the race can be unbalanced when your tire wear is uneven. Hence the back can be too heavy, even if it is lighter than the front. wink2.gif

No, I can't see them ether.

On another note, I could see Rin crashing soon with Ryosuke saving him. Of course when this happens I think Ryosuke would explain what really happened, opening Rin's eyes.

Could also be improper corner balancing. The R32 is probably set up to be heavier at the back to help stabilize it when it rams into other cars. happy.gif
