So, we're getting close to E3, and there's already word of what's coming soon, but this is somewhat 'recent' since a german site gave out info (Or what they want us to think is info) about the next installment of Battlefield, what is it?

Apparently it's going to be a World War Battlefield 5, not sure if it's WWII or WWI or maybe it's a mix of them, or just a wide guess of just saying 'here's maps of where actual wars happened, enjoy!'

Just having this created as well to have people post info coming up to the reveal and after, since I know i'm just tossing cod and getting this come October.

The flame of what made Battlefield special died after BC2.

I would love for a Bad Company 3, but then we'd just call it battlefield 5 or something.

Bad Company was fun and different, that's the one game/games I would easily go back to if they made it available on the one.

I really liked the light-hearted tone of the first Bad Company, and being the first Frostbite game, it looked AMAZING compared to previous entries before it. The second game did have some better mechanics though, so I spent more time playing that.

Lies. 3 was the best Battlefield, without question.

It was fun, no doubt about that, BUT

Bad Company 1&2 were my favorites.

Too many camp + nade spam locations on 3's maps sent me to Gamestop to trade it in within a few weeks.

I'm not super into online shooters anymore, so my opinion is rather worthless now vice my serious competitive streak in 2008-09.
