I honestly hope I'll manage to keep your attention till the very last chapter! Okay, since due to technical upgrades the ff.net updating functions are disabled and I've finally finished writing chapter 37 (after almost two weeks of not updating my story  ) I've decided to upload it here in a pdf file so at least whoever is still following this can read it before I post it in ff.net. Many thanks to j0cey for her continued support and, to DrIfTeRX305 I'd like to say that I wish I had more time to write because, truth be told, I was supposed to finish this fanfic sometime during the summer but, loads of things have prevented me from writing at my regular pace (those who know me, know what I'm talking about). That said, I think I've finally got back to my rhythm and, right now, I'm currently aiming to upload about three chapters per week. Hopefully this way you guys won't be hanging on forever to know the rest of the storyline! Thanks again for the support, without which, I wouldn't be able to keep on writing! |

| Most Fan Fics really piss me off, I don't know why, maybe people get too attached to their characters, maybe its some other reason. But after reading up to chapter 13-14, I was still gripped by the story. I like how you didn't just make it exactly like Takumi's story with different names too, but you didn't make it weird to make it completely unlike his story, as they would be similar. I'd also like to use this chance to say that I'm now fully recovered, I've found a different job which is a lot less stressful than the previous one so, all going well, I should be able to continue this fanfic of mine as well as doing a much needed catching up with what's going on in the Initial D fandom. | hey i just finished it and it's great stuff, you have so much more to work with and also a challenge too working in a different era, you get to make up the character's personalities and what not while we have to stay true to our beloved characters. the writing is great as usual, and i'm glad you held true to the D.K.'s home course. I don't think Bunta has that luck that Takumi has - it seems like he might go through more turmoil in his life, hence his introvert-like nature in the anime. Anywho, this last ch. is probably one of my favs. |

| I'm back!! Er...sorry for the lack of updates but on Wednesday me and the hubby left to go to the Alps. It was a sudden thing for a couple who are friends of ours invited us to stay in their mountain cabin and I didn't even have the time to warn anyone. I got, in this order: Too busy with work; too bothered by a few real-life things; slightly frustrated with the way the story refused to come out the way I wanted because of the first two reasons and this, together with the fact that there were indeed a few typos/errors which made it difficult for me to keep on writing with the right peace of mind made me almost drop the whole thing to go and revise the entire story. After giving it a bit of thought, I decided to update a little less frequently so that I could have time to, every week or so, correct and reupload the previous 55 chapters. This way I'm hoping that I'll be finished before spring while having the story as typo/mistake-free as humanly possible. That said, many thanks for your understanding. I knew that writing Bunta's history would be difficult so I can't say I didn't know what was coming, can I? |

| Sanae, I had just re-read chapter 10 where Bunta first performs the 'ski drift'. Although there's a bit of an explanation, I still don't get it. What exactly is a ski drift (is just a normal drift but with the outside tyres airborne)? BTW, excellent story! |
