Spamming this with "0MG JDM TYT3 YO!!!!1!!" is not the best way to get my attention. Try some actual discussion instead of crappy old memes next time.

haha, it's useful in real life when you red line and don't have time to look on your tachometer
Sucks that the RX8 in IDES doesn't have the beep

i work on mazda cars all day and there is no way to bypass that rev limiter sound on those RX8s unless you start putting aftermarket parts. it's just part of a safety feature. it's not as bad as the ones in the game LOL get pretty paranoid if that sound was the real thing in RX8s. The new 08 models are abit worst since the gear ratios are closer so you'll redline it quicker than usual.

Real life

FC makes the "Duck call" in the US market at redline, also a high pitched beep in Japan, both versions make a horrendously loud periodical beep-beep-beeeeeep if your oil pressure reading is too low.

FD, pretty much the same story

the86 is more or less as annoying as the chime a hyundai makes when you leave the door open (late 90's early 2000's hyundai's)

I thought the beeping sound in the AE86 doesn't exist in real life? Or does the AE86 really do that?

This section of the forum has been dead for a while, so don't expect many replies happy.gif I on the other hand still play Inital D: Extreme Stage when I have free time, and post in the Initial D: Extreme Stage section of the forum if there are replies. Nice to meet you smile.gif
