Lol, you got a good laugh from me... I got a Dell D610 right now that has served me faithfully for 6 years. I also have a Dell XPS... but it died. Anyways, I like how my D610 is now, despite it missing one of its "Ctrl" and "J" buttons. And my pimped out cover. Image size reduced, original size: 960 x 540. Patient Zero Group: Advanced Members Posts: 4,279 Member No.: 37,947 Joined: Oct 1st 2011 Location: Update Profile | Are those Botan Rice Candy stickers on your laptop sir? Because that is super awesome! Aside from that, your desk looks a lot like the one I have in my apartment room. Let's see, my computer is probably as normal as you can get. A Toshiba Portégé R705. With a puny little i3 core it doesn't do much other than browse the internet and allow me to type up lap reports and essays. It is lightning fast though because I have nothing on it. Literally nothing. Other than the standard Google Chrome, Word, and a few other things I choose to run. I have Skyrim loaded on my computer but I don't play it because my computer doesn't have a good graphics card. It looks as though the graphics have been run through sand and I would rather not... Anyhow, my laptop isn't decked out in stickers but I do have an In N Out sticker on it! I'm sure I've posted this picture somewhere else before though... Image size reduced, original size: 960 x 720. Hehe, yep. I decided to look up the Kanji ones off the Botan Rice Candy website after I posted the picture but I could not find the red one that looks like it has a 9 on it. The green one says "manga". Hehe, standard cheapo desk. I live in military barracks... so nothing is really special about it. It holds the wheel and has the room so I am happy. Edit:
So I decided to look more into why it died. But apparantly it is giving a 0146 code which indicates a HD failure. The thing has a WD Scorpio Blue SATA Mobile Hard Drive 500 GB so I am disapointed that it is having issues. I might end up just getting a USB External Portable case for it and attempting to save the data... so at least I now know what is wrong with it. There might be some hope that I can get back to the times again. But I am not in any hurry This post has been edited by Tuskano on Jul 7 2012, 10:56 PM

I have one, it just sucks nuts like every other AMD CPU on the planet does right now. I fucking hate my AMD. It's a shit processor with an equally shitty motherboard chipset. AMD will never again be any part of any computer I put together in the future. The only reason to go AMD is if you're a cheap bastard. If you have even a semblance of cash you go Intel. I literally just helped a friend put together a rig from scratch--his first custom build--including an i5-2500k for under $700. None of this AMD nonsense. But since people are listing their shit, fine. Here's my shitty AMD. CPU: AMD FX-4100 RAM: 8 GB DDR3-1333 @ CL 9 OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 HDDs: 1TB Caviar Black, 1TB Spinpoint F1, 1.5TB Seagate, 2TB Generic USB3 External, 4TB Hitachi USB3 External GPU: PNY GeForce GTX260 Mainboard: Asus M5A7LM-LX+ Sound Card: Creative X-Fi Platinum w/ Music Input Panel Optical Drive: Asus BD-RW PSU: OZC 500W Mouse: Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000 Keyboard: Generic Dell USB Headphone: Creative Aurvana Live! Monitor: Dell E248WFP Windows Arbitrary Experience Bullshit: CPU: 7.2 RAM: 7.3 GPU (2D): 7.2 GPU (3D): 7.2 HDD: 5.9 (Stupid hard drive, you make me look bad!) Yeah there you go. My next rig will be a Core i7 with a 660 Ti hooked up to a U2410. Of course that's already over a grand in parts without even factoring in case, PSU, motherboard, etc etc etc. It's a ways off. Until then, suffering with shit tier AMD. This post has been edited by Nomake Wan on Apr 24 2013, 08:42 AM

Request Title - PM Mods Group: Members Posts: 441 Member No.: 40,507 Joined: Feb 9th 2013 Location: North Ohio Valley | People have some decent comps around here. Mine's a little over 2 years old now. Built it right before sandy bridge came out (doh!). AMD Phenom 2 x4 965BE Some cheap Biostar MB Ripjaws X 8gb RAM Spinpoint 1tb hdd Geforce 570GTX TwinFrozr2 Factory Overclock Antec Earthwatts 750 Got it for 3D, with the asus nvidia package with the lil shutter glasses. Since then, that screen got a little black dot, then a vertical line, then a horizontal line and a huge black spot where they intersect, right after warranty died. Asus technical support and RMA system is a nightmare btw. So have a Acer 27" LED VA panel. Picture is fantastic but response time is crap. Lots of ghosting. But it doesn't really bother me much. Had a Logitech 540x 5.1 system, but that died when a tree branch fell on the power line and burned it up. So now, its a decent 2.1. Cheapy backlit keyboard, Logitech G13 pad, Logitech G600 mouse. (Had a RAT 7 and a Nostromo pad, both failed) And a crap-ton of fans. PC under full load heavy gaming hits 39C CPU and 49C for the GTX. Also my room is always a bit crap, trying to build myself another cockpit for it so I can break out my G25 again. Oh well, it gets the job done. Image size reduced, original size: 1024 x 577. Proc: AMD Phenom x4 945 OC @ 3.5GHZ (233x15, stock voltages. The 945's have their multipliers locked anyway) MB: Asus M4A78T-E (PCI-E 16x slot broke, my buddys i7 machine with an Asus MB did the same exact thing in a 2 year time frame. No more Asus MB's if I can help it.) RAM: Corsair XMS3 DHX TW3X4G1600C9DHX 4GB @ 1600 (I bought these when DDR3 was new for like, 100 bucks.... And now, one of the sticks is really corrupt and mucks around things every once in awhile, no more corsair for me.) GPU: XFX AMD HD6870 1GB Reference Model (Surprisingly, this hasn't given me any troubles. Its been the most trouble free GPU I've ever owned, and I loved my old Nvidias. ) SSD: Samsung 830 64GB PSU: Antec Earthwatts 750W (Fan squeaks....no more Antec PSU's) Case: NZXT Phantom (the original one, they have have like..4 more variants of it now..) So in the almost 5 or so years that I've owned my Phenom 945, its..how should i say it? Been phenomenal? Its only recently been giving me problems as the oldest pieces of hardware on it is really starting to wear itself down. CPU is still trucking fine at being 3.5 for long. By the end of this year, shes being retired. Hopefully with an i7, or if AMD can get their game together with their architecture redo this year Ala Steamroller, I might not leave team green after all.
