Moving on to the script, in order to speed things up and since Tesso is a very busy man, I think it's best if everyone who is involved in this project gets to contribute with their own ideas. For this purpose, here's the list of the IDW Official Dub Over Project Team: Pikachu Fragger (Yuuichi) Alastair (Itsuki AND Papa) SgtXDNX (Takumi) Nomake Wan (Natsuki) Ryosuke63 (Iketani) Saint (Bunta) JZX100 (Kenji) Tesso (Keisuke) Kiroshino (Fumihiro) Ayako Watanabe (Ryosuke) Yosuke (Narrator) FC3SSavannaIII (Random Voices) Sanae (Team's Moral Supporter) Now, what we should do is, from the script you can ALSO find in this post, pick your own lines and tweak them around to make them funny/insane/whatever. Don't worry though, if you need help/ideas, get in touch with one of the other members, I'm sure we'll all be happy to help. Also, if you have suggestions for any of the characters you aren't playing, let the member who is playing him/her know so that he can tell you what he thinks/be forever grateful for your contribution. Once we have a draft put together, we should meet up in AIM or IRC to talk about how to get this done. Skype will also be helpful to record conversations so they flow more naturally. At any rate, from now on, any script issues should be kept within the group as to not spoil the surprise for everyone else, okay? PM any of the members if you guys need an opinion on what you've come up with, ok? IDW Okamisan Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,514 Member No.: 19,388 Joined: Aug 7th 2006 Location: Milan, Italy | Thanks Yosuke, you will definitely be a part of this. To Nomake and Ryo-chan: using Audacity, I managed to remove the vocals from the opening theme: Around the World. It's not perfect but it can be used as a base. Also, I've applied the same process to the actual episode's soundtrack and it works quite well, the voices are mostly gone and most of the SFX are still there. Unfortunately, it also removes the vocals in the two insert songs. If anyone here knows any trick on how to do this better, please let me know! I'll be posting the links to the actual Japanese audio track from the entire episode plus the one where I removed the voices and the audio-less video in the FIRST POST so people can start playing around with them to see what's the best solution for when we'll need to do the final encoding. Hashi: Import your stereo file into Audacity. Open the track menu (click the arrow next to the track title), and choose “Split Stereo Track.” Select the lower track (the right channel) by clicking it in the area around the mute/solo buttons. Choose “Invert” from the Effects menu. Using the track menus, change each track to “Mono.” Select All and Export as WAV or MP3 Saint: You can now find SendSpace mirrors on the first post. I hope they work for you! This post has been edited by Sanae on Nov 15 2009, 06:44 AM

The Team is just the list of people who will provide their voices and help re-writing the script for the first episode. It's not a closed membership since, if we do more episodes, we'll need new people to do the other characters. Also, if you have any encoding/audio mixing skills, you're more than welcome to help.

The voiceless track is fantastic, no doubt, but if we go that way it should be to make a serious dub on top of the funny one. Two audio tracks, anyone? Funny + Serious...? |

Weird...it works for me. Anyway, here's a sendspace one. Tesso: Two tracks would be good. We could encode the video as a mkv or ogm to have both tracks so people can select whichever they want to hear. It's entirely up to you though, you're the artists here!

Oh thanks! I dunno, I can still hear the voices a bit. I think just singing over the original would do, since this version removes the beat. Thanks for trying this though! I've used that technique many times before.

DJ Tessou took the time to throw the original tv length track into audacity and work his magic to make a karaoke mix. DON'T MISS IT |
