i agree. it's boring to see only the same car when battling online (86, 86, 86 )...really want to see varieties while meeting opponents when online battle!

OBJECTION! Were all the cars to be exactly the same, I'd find that ridiculous. Someone's 85 would have the exact same startup as an R34. I'd prefer it if the different Specs would be more user friendly. Mild is only ever used on snow; all other specs just sit there gathering dust. Come to think of it, it'd be great if we could choose to drift or grip depending on our spec choice, and not be penalized for it.

Hahaha agreed. If all cars had the same specs, the game would be boring as hell. Besides, realistically, having the same "torque speed", as it was called (lol), would be very very strange. Why should something tiny like a Cappuccino have the same torque as a Nissan GTR? The Cappuccino makes a scant 78lb ft, while the GT-R belts out 434lb ft. See where there might be problem? The 86 has to be imbalanced to make the game "fair" for it. In the series, it's taking on insanely more powerful cars and winning, which it most definitely could not actually do in real life. Go ahead. Try an AE86 vs. R32 race in Forza 4 on Fujimi Kaido downhill (the closest example), and see what happens. Suddenly the 86 isn't so awesome!

That's how it happens in competitive games. People naturally find the best character/vehicle and use it exclusively. If the R32 was the best car, for instance, you'd see nothing but R32s online. What, you thought the best car in the game was going to be something other than what the protagonist drives?

From what im observing... is the meter below the tachometer like your tire level or your boost level or something? i think that the less you drift = you are faster because you preserve your tires? so you will only need to drift in the hairpins? I'm confused here... D6 was easier to understand be harder to execute.. this looks easy to follow like d6 but hard to achieve the level you want.... due to the complicated stuff going on, its like D5 again.

Tsuchizaka battle~~ And I admit...the tacho is kinda fancy, but it seems like those complex new gauges just made things a whole lot more interesting. Can't wait to try this... =D

This might be like D5 EDIT: I saw a throttle and brake bar thr too.....we can observe ppl play without their footwork but still know how/when do they brake & gas! Also, what does the colour of the km/h mean? I guess red means you're going slow and blue means you're going fast... Another thing, thr seems to be number appearing above the number of km/h that you're going..........it's probably the recommended speed to clear the corners(like Gran Turismo?) Reading is magic! Group: Advanced Members Posts: 2,601 Member No.: 30,700 Joined: Sep 24th 2008 Location: Philippines | Notice the Speedometer also changes from gold to blue. This is also some ridiculous acceleration. Since when did an Impreza get to nearly redline in top gear for Akina's first section? The two Side gauges are Brake/Gas pedal pressure. You'll notice in one corner, the blue feathers a bit. The red one blinks just a little right before he enters. So Physics are more or less the same as V6. Now it just leaves the question of that big blue gauge. I noticed it drain only during the grip section in the S curves. When did we get these videos? Is the game actually... OUT? Or is this just a location test? |

That big blue gauge is probably the tire gauge as mentioned above And it's just a location test

So its a speedometer, gas/brake displays, and timer. |
