Decided to make a music video based off of DiRT Rally. So, here it is.

0/10 needs more takumi and his heel to toe

(nice how long did this take you?)

Took me a whole day. The hardest part was recording all of that stuff. :v

I like it.

What most people don't know is that you can't save replays so you have to finish the stage and record what you want from it. That's why making Dirt rally videos is very tedious and time consuming

Well, I'm glad that at least someone gets it.
Because, well, doing single-replay videos is quite simple. You drive, get your recording software up, record your replay and voila, you've done it.

However, doing multi-replay videos like mine for example is not the simplest of things and if you want to get some decent clips, you ought to drive decently or your clips are not gonna be good, and you know, you gotta try again. Which I certainly had to do, but there are still some badly-driven clips in my video if you pay close attention, because I'm not that good of a driver 'n' stuff. And some clips may be decently driven but had to be left out because of length, which is a bugger.

And then of course we got the editing, which is definitely not the easiest nor the hardest part. Because you gotta have some kind of a rhythm and some editing knowledge to get those clips to line up in the beat of the music (and of course, you have to measure length into it). At least it's not as painful as recording though.

Eh, it's all quite a lot mess for doing just a one and a half minute video, and doing a longer video is just 2x of all of that.

Nice job!

I want this game. Is it a lot better compared to Dirt 3?

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes, 10 times better than DiRT 3 IMO.
However, it's a simulator, so watch out for that and be ready to smash into trees 90% of the time.
If you don't have a wheel, then bad news, the game's barely playable with a controller; though possible, it most certainly isn't easy, not in the slightest.
This game is nothing like DiRT 3 though, it's way more unforgiving and, well, realistic. Stages are waaay more narrow and longer and it requires a headfulhandful of concentration.

Certainly not for the faint-hearted.

That's good. I actually prefer that. XD

How's the force feedback? From what I've read and experienced, it was a bit broken in Dirt 3. Wondering if they've fixed that for Rally.

The Lancia 037 Evo 2 never steer straight(countersteering 95% of the time) & the car go exactly where I want to. It's that good.

Replay Run with the wheel using 540degree. Those need specific input.
