Which is a slap in the face. I'm still trying to figure out why veterans are getting put in NXT. AJ didn't get put in NXT, so why are these guys?

This event brought us the best match card picture of Asuka. wub.gif

Man, some of this WrestleMania card makes me shake my head at what they were thinking for at least 2 matches...

So far it's been a pretty good show. The Cena/Miz match was a low point. I missed the SD Women's match, Orton/Bray, and Goldberg/Lesnar. Watching Taker/Reigns now and it ain't bad.

Just wish the Miz match went the other way. The AJ match was great though. Pretty cool to see the Hardys, find it hilarious Cole said something was going to be broken lol.

Welp, that's the end of Taker's career. At least they gave him his moment at the end. Who knows what the hell they'll do with Reigns tomorrow.

Probably have him go up against Lesnar, they've already got the built in story about being the only two wrestlers to beat Taker.

Now you see the setup. The guy nobody wanted to beat Taker, much less end his career, is going against the guy that believably beat Taker. This is WM34.

Wait until you see the one from the match card they sold at the event. I have it on the way and will scan it as soon as it arrives.

You should be in the thread for the topic at hand, though, dude. Pretty women are great and all, but that's not the subject.

You see the opening to RAW? Brilliant! People were booing the shit out of Roman, one of them was just "Go away". I kinda wonder, is the heat he's getting X-PAC heat?

He's playing to it, and so is the creative team. Otherwise he would have cut a promo through the booing. I don't want to call this a heel turn but it's pretty damn close to "Die Rocky Die".

The thing is Roman doesn't seem to have anywhere near the levels of charisma to pull off what The Rock did, remember his sufferin succatash or tater tots lines prove this.

I think they're on the cusp of just letting him say whatever he wants, which will get him over. This is potentially the best way to push him without it feeling forced anymore. I have faith.

Hardyz are on fire. I'm loving their matches so far.

As long as it's not him saying stupid stuff like tater tots, I'm all for it, although I doubt he'll ever be as big as Cena, Rock or Austin.

I wonder what they're going to do with Finn? Have him re-enter the Universal Title picture...?

I love how Matt hinted at his broken character after they won the titles at WrestleMania.

Anything is possible. Hell, the show opened with a babyface Vince. We're in a weird era.

Heh, I thought we were in a new era with regards to the WWE since last year at the draft lol.

I think the ratings showed that Raw needed some work last year. The first "new era" Raw was actually really good, but then they reverted back to the old shit and quality started to slide once again.

1. Do something with Rusev, for fuck's sake.
2. Give Sami an actual storyline beyond "the guy that Owens dislikes".
3. GM Angle responds to obstinate heels via Angle Slam in the ring.

Rusev is great, but out of action due to surgery, by man when you think about it, in his feud with Reigns, he totally was the baby face, Reigns totally was being a heel towards him.

With Sami, I hope they put him on Smackdown where I think he'd thrive.

TIL Tye Dillinger is Canadian.

I really hope Dillinger coming out to challenge Hawkins is the only bottom card match he's in. Tye is over as fuck and deserves midcard mayhem.

Nakamura made his debut as well, man, barring some changes at this roster shake up it looks like Smackdown has the upper hand in terms of talent.

Are you sure? Nakamura and Dillinger are great gets, but Raw gained both the Hardys and Revival this week. People starving for tag team matches are gonna be watching Raw.

The "shakeup" seems like a big deal, but so did the draft and look where that got us: Cena and AJ on SD, Seth and Reigns on Raw. Who else matters in the long run, really? That's not meant to degrade other talents, but the guys that move merchandise are who really matter to the company. Nakamura debuted against Miz and Maryse on SD. That means they're all staying. Dillinger and Hawkins, too. The big question is really what happens with AJ, and when is Cena bowing out for another vacation? As far as I know, nothing happened to Seth as backlash for defeating HHH, so I'm thinking he's safe on Raw.

My bold prediction is there will be an inter-show competition sometime this year.

True, they got a bit better in terms of tag teams, but it feels like RAW's tag team division needs expansion, it feels like all they've had is The Club, Enzo and Cass, Cesaro and Sheamus, and The New Day.

Isn't the shake up supposed to go down today on the 5th?

Honestly, having all of the tag team division on one show would have been better.

Same with the women's division.
