It's hard to trust anyone to compete legit. You just have to rely on the honesty of the fellow racers. I have given Jayson my complete upgrade/tuning specs and we'll se what kind of times he gets.

His honesty isn't in question right now. He's just using a PAL version.

I have now researched the matter of benefits by using a PAL version of GT3 and I have come up with....nothing.

I have visited numerous boards and sites including www.gt3times.com, www.gtplanet.net and racing-line.org. None of these have any info about the matter and none of the boards I have been to have had this issue as a topic of discussion (that I could find).

On the gtplanet.net board I got an answer from a helpful guy named Famine and you can read his reply in this link:

http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/t-36207.html

Unless anyone has different information I think that my times are as legit to use in competitions as the times of NTSC players.

Well everybody might not care. I just want to make sure that I don't have an unfair advantage over the other competitors. This matter raised some interest =)

Those times are unusually fast, but here's how it'll work.

Even though there's no proof that the PAL version is indeed unfair, I will give the top 2 people the first prize.

I'm gonna regret this.

No there is no proof that the PAL version is "faster" but as people have replied on the thread I posted higher up in this thread, 2 people said (having access to both PAL and NTSC consols) that there is no advantage. The PAL version can be quicker, by hundreds of a second, on the other hand, so can the NTSC.
