Ok, time to launch a different type of challenge.
Instead of competing on times as we usually do, it is time to face an opposition that is ahead in terms of technology and most likely, power to weight ratio.
The challenge is pretty basic according to these rules:

* You are to buy or acquire an old school American muscle car.
This means that cars from the 1950's and up to 1978, only car excluded are the Buick Special for now, if the going gets too tough, then I will open it up.

* Race cars are not allowed in this challenge, but then again, they are not allowed to enter the race anyway so even if I said they were allowed, you wouldn't be able to run them.

* Nitrous is allowed, but remember you are running on S3 tires here so your grip will be minimal, so you MIGHT want to use this with some caution.

* Driving should be done without resorting to resorting to Shingo methods, pending results, this may be lifted later on, however ramming opponents to get past them seems to make you lose time to the leader so it may NOT be your best option either if you are running at the rear.

* There are NO POWER LIMITS at all for this challenge, however there is the minimum power limit to engage in the race, which is around 492 HP.

* Races are to take place on ANY of the circuits available in the "Supercar festival" challenge that is provided in the Professional hall.

* Results will have to be done in Total time and what place you finish at, lets see who can crush these supercars with inferior technology. Total time can be seen when saving the replay if you forgot to note it during the race.

Best of luck to the drivers, remember you are going to drive an inferior frame built piece of understeering thrash at speeds it was NEVER designed for and at G Forces that it certainly NEVER was made to withstand against machinery that was born for this type of driving, the odds are NOT in your favour at all, turning the tables will be up to you however.
Let us see if you can wedge your muscles past that Tommy Kaira ZZ II.

My 700bhp Dodge Charger Superbee accepts your challenge grin2.gif

Be back soon with some times pinch2.gif

Edit: Hmm, maybe not, I can stay 2nd for most of the race, then on the last lap my tyres die sad.gif I'll try again later, but I will say one thing, not even that Tommy Kaira can outgun my Superbee on the straights wink2.gif

So far my fully tuned Corvette has managed 2nd place and a time of 8'07.843 as a total time on Midfield Reverse, the Tommy Kaira rammed me and I spun out, thanks to a little nitrous I managed to defend 2nd place, but my tires were shot in the final corner so it was tough fighting oversteer.

Used a full tuned 440 Cuda with no NOS to win NY. So far ahead that the other cars did not even post a finshing time.

Seems like you got lucky and managed to overcome the tire wear stidriver...
I had to drive conservatively every here and there to keep my tires grip around Midfield.

The rears wear was in the orange at the finish. Had a good power slide exiting the last turn. Could not have made it on S3 if the race was 7 laps.

I've been running around Midfield Reverse with my 520PS (was rated at 495PS when in replay ohmy.gif) Chevrolet Camaro Z28 69', and I seemed to be getting times like 8'10'xxx without NOS. Bloody W12 coupe rammed me into a wall along with a spunout Tommykaira. I could have taken the lead if that German tank hadn't hit me with the powers of the Messerschmitt.
