GT5 OPEN CHALLENGE

Description: I figured that since this forum hasn't really been active, I supposed I'd post a challenge to test the waters and see if people would still be interested in doing these. If people are indeed still interested, I'll be sure to set up more of these, learn what regulations and data sets provide more of a challenge, and hopefully breathe new life into Gran Turismo Central. This particular challenge is supposed to be pretty easy and has little regulation to try and attract as many members as possible.

Course: Autumn Ring Mini

Standard Regulations:
Driving Aids: ALLOWED
Race Cars/RM: ALLOWED

Special Regulations:
Performance Points Limited By Class.
2 Tires must be on track at any given moment (Track includes rumble strips)

Proof:
When posting your time, you are NOT required to post proof unless your time is suspiciously unrealistic. If your time is challenged by three or more participants, you must post proof. (Number may drop and is subject to change based on size of participating crowd) That said, snap a picture of your time as proof, and save the replay just in case.

Sunday Class

1. Phantom_R32 / Eagle Talon TSi '97 / 181HP / 386PP / Sunday / 0:39.674
2. ThrasherDBS / Volkswagen typ2(T1) SambaBus '62 / 158HP / 400PP / Sunday / 0:39.796

X2010/11 Class
Max PP: Unlimited
Tires: Any
1. ThrasherDBS / Gran Turismo Red Bull X2010 S.Vettel / 1472HP / 973PP / X2010/11 / 0:21.179

Please submit your times in the following format:
Name / Full Car Name / Horsepower / PP / Class / Time

Tips: When doing a run, I usually do a two-lap run: the first lap being the "out" lap or break-in lap to get a feel for the car, and the second lap (and subsequent laps if not satisfied with how the second lap turns out) is the trial lap. This allows you to race against a "ghost" of your best lap and gauge how well you're doing. Your second lap will be better than your first lap... most of the time. Mistakes can happen.

Have fun guys. Hopefully we'll have a decent turnout for this challenge. Knock my times from the top spots!

UPDATED: 2/23/13 Phantom_R32's times.

Thanks! Are we allowed to try these times with different cars? Because I was just messing around with the Garaiya for the most part. I wanna try something with a little more than 275hp lol

Most definitely! This is an open-ended challenge. Feel free to use whatever cars you want and feel free to post as many times as you want.
