So, thanks to the massively awesome gathering tonight, there'll be another Movie Night in two weeks--one that you all get to vote on! Above you'll find a list of films I have available for broadcast. Pick one and the winner will be shown on the stream!

As a note, the Kamen Rider selection is a double-feature since those movies are only an hour long. Same with Kopps and Interstella 5555. Here are quick summaries of the plots for each movie for those who might not be familiar with some or all of the titles.

James Bond: Goldeneye. If you don't know what a Bond movie is, I can't really help you. That said, this is my personal favorite of the non-Sean-Connery Bond movies. Not to mention the best first-person shooter on the N64. Wait, what?

Kamen Rider Decade: ALL-RIDERS VS DAISHOCKER. Every Kamen Rider ever versus a giant evil organization that shoots The People Who Say EEEE as missiles. Also, Gackt tears off his own arm in a moment of badassery. 'Nuff said.

Kamen Rider Chou Den-O And Decade. The token crossover film for Den-O and Decade, it features a new Den-O form, Tsukasa being possessed by Momotaros, and a giant-ass steam battleship that hovers in midair. Did I mention time paradoxes?

Kopps. What happens when you get a bunch of Swedish cops, some special effects wizardry, and a lulzy script together? This movie. Many of you may have seen clips from this movie without even knowing it. I'll give you a hint: Nobody f*cks with Benny the Cop.

Interstella 5555. AKA "Daft Punk the Movie." This is quite possibly the best movie I've ever seen that has no speech in it. The whole movie is music from start to finish yet somehow manages to tell a story with a coherent plot that grips you dramatically. Incredibly well-made and worth the watch.

Millennium Actress. The story of a Japanese film actress's life from both her eyes and the eyes of her characters, with her interviewers being dragged into the middle of it. It may sound plain, but it's a Satoshi Kon film (Perfect Blue, Paranoia Agent, Paprika, etc) and was in my opinion the most dramatic one he's done. There's also a welcome lack of gore.

Serenity. Do I really need to explain this one? Okay, sure. If you don't know what this is, you're a Sci-Fi fan, and the word "Firefly" just makes you think of a bug, then you have no choice. Streamed or not, you must see this film. Period, end of story. I liken it to "Live-Action Outlaw Star, minus some Grappler Ships."

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. A Comic Book comes to life! Not a manga, mind you, but a comic book. You know, Americana and all that jazz. A fun flick with some crazy aerial acrobatics and gadgetry. Good stuff, very nostalgic!

Space Cowboys. Tommy Lee Jones and Clint Eastwood in a film about flying into space to save the world. Come on, that's epic as hell.

Stealth. A movie about what happens when AI starts taking over for real pilots. Takes some pointers from the likes of Macross Plus and Yukikaze, at least in my opinion. Awesome music, great effects, and I'm a military aircraft nut so there you go.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. What if you had the worst day of your life, a day so bad that you ended up falling in front of a train and being killed? Then, like nothing, you wake up that morning as if it was all a dream only to realize that you fell back in time? Then you figured out how to do it at will, able to correct every little mistake you ever made! How far would you go? What would you change? Where would it end? That's this movie. From the same people who brought you SUMMER WARS and Digimon the Movie.

Titan AE. Humanity gets blown the hell up by a bunch of immortal energy beings, turning them overnight into an endangered species. Oops. Good thing they hid a ship that can save them! ...oh crap, where'd we hide it again? Shit.

That's it! See you in two weeks, and may the best film win!

You have that, but not anything newer, like QoS? tongue.gif

I voted Serenity, because it's awesome. Can't hate a series/movie with Adam Baldwin rocking the greatest hat ever made.

I voted Serenity, but having seen the results I feel that may have been a wasted vote. I don't want to watch Goldeneye. It's not a bad film, I've just seen it umpteen times in the last few years.

I'm sure some have seen serenity umpteen times in the last few years too. So I need to stop whining and buy the damn dvd or bluray.

You didn't see the big, huge, bright warning when you tried to post in this topic that it was super old and posting needless things would get you warned?

Nice job breaking it, hero. As you could have seen from the poll, we tried to watch Goldeneye. The TV server couldn't handle how epic it was.

There's thread necromancy, and then there's thread necrophilia. That was amazing.
