Michael is also extremely hit or miss and half of the tracks don't even sound like MJ.

THIS.

I only have 3 of his songs on my iPod ... on purpose! And they're the ones everybody hates !! laugh.gif

Black or White feat. Macaulay Culkin facepalm.gif
Remember the Time wub.gif
You Rock My World feat. Chris Tucker shifty2.gif

I keep telling myself the rest of his catalogue is an acquired taste.

Yeah, anybody can throw in Off the Wall or Thriller at any point in time and trumpet how unironically they love MJ. Can you really say you enjoy the entirety of his catalog, though? Xscape is not a good album. At all. Michael is also extremely hit or miss and half of the tracks don't even sound like MJ.

To be fair, there aren't very many artists you can say that about. Even the most amazing ones will usually have a piece or two that you think falls a little short.

There's some records that are just classic, like 50 Cent's Get Rich & Weeknd's Starboy ~ depending on your tastes. But even those have some songs that are just blehh ~ Not even Queen has a perfect album .. unless you count their Greatest Hits, and even still not every track's a classic. user posted image

Dustbin Jieber's another story tho .. I love every crappy song that boy makes awesome.gif

Legitimately a very fun and entertaining album. Fondly remembered.

I asked her once what she thought of Linkin Park's music. "I don't like their politics," was her answer.

What exactly were Linkin Park's politics?

Really depends on the year. He had an odd period in the 2000's where his music took a drastic turn in creative direction, and I couldn't bring myself to enjoy it.

That's more or less what I mean - I don't really think there was a time where listening to "classic" MJ, (Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, etc.) was uncool, even amidst his legal troubles. People just respected the music too much not to delude themselves into not liking it.

I have no idea. I didn't pry because that answer had nothing to do with the question I was asking.

I may've gone a bit too far on that one laugh.gif ..

But that's good with music tho ~ cause everybody's got weird tastes. Songs are meant to be polarizing, either you hate them or you love them, even years after coming back to them.

What makes a song bad as opposed to a good one imo, isn't me liking it ~ a bad song I just feel nothing for & laugh at the thought of even forming an opinion about it.

A good song, you either love it or hate it.

A bad one, is one you're indifferent about...

Like that Redbone song you just posted my 15 y/o cousin keeps raving about. That thing's just a funny meme user posted image but still I guess to someone that's a classic ~

Danny Choo has nothing to do with running GSC...
They've only partnered before on projects.

i went to Otakuthon today and i found out the most important question that is bugging the gaming/anime community: what is really inside a pokeball. i purchased this at otakuthon and it really shed some light on the answer.

Man, it's so unpleasantly when you wake up in the night because a limb is completely numb because the blood flow is interrupted because of a bad sleeping position. I couldn't even move my right arm on its own so I had to use my other arm to change its position. It feeled like I touched an arm of a corpse.

Did that a few times. Not on purpose since I can only seem to fall asleep on my back now. But I move a lot when I sleep, always have so random times i'll wake up and just feel all fuzzy and etc on that arm. It's fun trying to lift it or move a finger, needles all over that arm.

I am also entertained when I try moving parts of my body that have fallen asleep, and watching how clumsy it looks.

Mostly finished with my new rig (waiting on the GPU to arrive) but still cut between Win 7 Pro or surrendering to Windows 10.

And plenty of things Windows 10 does that you wouldn't want it to, which Windows 7 won't.

Will be purchasing an iPhone SE later this week (sunday-onward) for 160 at Target. random cellular service (the no monthly contract one).

Will be used as an ipod/wifi only type of entertainment. Already have a phone I use to text and call, my old ipod has run it's course, 3 or so years, it's showing it's age.

The hardware in one of those is pretty awesome. It's a pretty great pick as far as a modern multimedia device goes, and for $160 that's not bad either.
