it's not the heat, it's the humidity. Group: Members Posts: 227 Member No.: 1,269 Joined: Feb 12th 2004 Location: Update Profile | As far as i know you can take them at 150 using the gutters... |

If you brake early and accelerate fully throughout the turn, and you DONT hit the walls, then you should be fine. |

Akagi's White Comet Group: Members Posts: 442 Member No.: 877 Joined: Oct 5th 2003 Location: Warner Robins, GA | The cappo is best on Akina, and you can take alot of those turns in 4th,and some even in 5th. the cappo is very easy to make turn on that course, gutters help but only like 6 of them really do anything all the others really are just there....like the final right hand turn on akina downhill,i've seen ppl take that at like 180 and 185 cuz of the gutter..maybe ppl can go faster...maybe but i have to see it in person to believe it. |

A pretty long time ago, when I visited the Boomers in Santa Maria, hit 192 around that turn. That wasn't my best run because I had screwed everything up until the last straight. |

Bucket Hunter Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,115 Member No.: 1,064 Joined: Nov 28th 2003 Location: Chicago, Illinois | depends on the turn. as far as i know there are only 4 turns that can be taken 150 and up. (RHOD, first hp after cp2, right hander onto fireworks straight, and the very last turn.) capp takes everything in 4th cept the turns mentioned above which can be taken in 5th gear unless your using 5 in 4 out method on a lot of the turns.
