He wasn't racing anyone Spaz. He was just being super epic on a downhill.  It looked like he was going really fast. If it takes about 5 minutes to get down at that speed I wonder how long it would take someone going the speed limit. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] | ||

While he was probably going a decent bit over Japan's incredibly conservative speed limits, it certainly took him longer than five minutes to complete the course. The beginning and end of his run were either cut out or, going by the numeral in the filename, are in different videos. While his sliding around just about every corner (including facing the outer wall at one point) is incredibly impressive, it's by no means the fastest way. I'd bet he was below the speed limit most of the time (albeit probably breaking some other law regarding reckless driving). He was doing this to show off, not to be fast. Still, if it's a private citizen doing an amateur video, it's technically street racing. | ||

It's a one-way street, it's not like he was endangering other motorists in the process. It's quite impressive driving to say the least, inclined hairpins like that are incredibly difficult to slide due to the gravity-induced increase in lateral acceleration of the rear end. |
